  1. I'm surely not in the position to buy anything since I got evicted from the place I was keeping 7 trucks for free, but it would nice to pict a picture with a truck, especially the LTSW. Good luck, Mike.
  2. That didn't take long. Could you smell the FWD? The IH is not mine but the others are. I would part it, but I bought it for the cab and engine. I will keep them if I can't sell the whole thing. What do you need? Your truck looks pretty complete to me. It has and RD 501 and a 5 speed. Oddly enough it is four wheel drive. Unfortunately it has hydraulic brakes. What specs do you want?
  3. R686 parts truck. Cab very rusty. Whole or parts. Good hood with hood scoop. No engine. Trans and rear have water damage. Lost storage. $800 OBO. Mike. Boyertown PA. More pictures available. Don't want to use up all the space.
  4. F700 parts truck for sale. Whole or parts. Can very rusty. Body never used but floor boards need replacing. Engine gone. Trans and rears probably have water damage. $800 OBO. Mike Lost storage. Other trucks in the background also available.
  5. Where's the AB? Can you post pictures if you are not going to buy it. Thanks. Mike
  6. Like these? Pyle National. Chicago.
  7. Bechtlesville? I'm from Boyertown. I thought I knew all the truck guys in the area. Mike.
  8. Welcome to the forum. I saw your posts about the 470 on another forum. That is a great truck. Mike
  9. Everything is for sale. I'm thinking of putting an offer on it but probably shouldn't. I bought an IH R195 and put offers on a few other things. Here is the R195 . Here is a different V model. And another. And here are two other R models.
  10. My father and I went to see this U model yesterday. We didn't take batteries because it was so cold. The truck has quite a bit of rust. My father refered to the trailer as "sway-back". This is one of those places where they never got rid of anything. Unfortunately none of the stuff was kept inside and much of it was used to plow snow so pretty rough shape. The U model is the only Mack. Mike.
  11. Iowa? Really? I didn't know anyone out there liked Macks.
  12. I'll take a look at it and take a bunch of pictures. I'll post them here. I have this crazy itch to buy another truck and I don't have a U model. I don't neccessarily need one, but why not. I've been by this place many times. Back in 1990 I tried buy buy an A50 moving truck that sat in the lot next to this place. The guy wanted $500 for it which I did not have. When I balked at the price the guy responded, "I'm not going to give it away." It disappeared a few months later. I wish I had bought it. I'll have to scan the picture. Mike
  13. This is one of those situations where it is disappointing to have things posted. I heard about this truck independent of BMT, but now there are a bunch of people interested in it. It is only 20 minutes from my house. I'd be a jerk if I bought it though. Mike
  14. Welcome back. Glad you were able to keep ahold of the F model. Hopefully I'll see you at Macungie again. I've only bought one or two trucks since i saw you last but superdog bought about 50. Mike
  15. Glad you thought that was funny instead of thinking I was a dick. The mechanic is working on it. Should make it's debut at Macungie. I'm applying for antique license next week. Mike
  16. This truck is very close to me, but very far from my price range. If only I weren't so cheap. Mike
  17. It is a neat story with great pictures. It sounds like a good time. DC can only print what is submitted. Some people complain about it being "all Mack, all the time", but Mack people are fanatical about the brand. Of course that is not a problem with this group. Anyway, it would be great to hear more about what goes on on the left coast or anywhere besides Macungie, Allentown and Lititz. Mike.
  18. This truck was posted on here when it was for sale on bidspotter or something like that. I tried to bid in it but it took me too long to register. It sold for $10,000. Mike
  19. It sat there for a lot of years. I would think they would have scrapped it themselves if that was the case. Mike
  20. Pretty sure this truck is at Wunderlich's garage on 724. It is pretty rough. I took pictures about 2 years ago to post in here but never did. I can post them if anyone is interested. Only 10'minutes from work. Mike
  21. It sounds like you need another truck. It would be a lot less work and maybe less money to buy a B61/B613 and keep the B67 intact. Or you could get a B42 and repower it. If you are putting a longer hood on, you don't have a B67 anymore. Of course putting a diesel in a B42 makes it not a B42. Mike
  22. I have some pistons that might be worth using. If you were up my way you could look at them and see if any were good enough. I am not a good judge of that. Mike Boyertown, Pa
  23. I went to this museum when I was in NZ. It was great. Neat displays with detailed histories on each piece of equipment. An antique truck convoy had visited the previous day. I wish I had gone a day earlier. I should post some pictures. Mike
  24. -3 degrees. Not a good time for women in short skirt.
