  1. HAHA two words my friend........Jenny Craig...... HAHA no im just f!@kin with ya. I've got problems myself. Some genius removed the air ride "If it ever had one" and mounted seats "on the floor" So it sits kinda low. And in doing so My 6'3" 275lbs ass is all sorts of cramped up. My knee is in my mouth when I go to push the clutch in......
  2. Well If you are planning on coming at all be sure to let me know, I'll be there. I'm looking forward to meeting some of you characters from BMT this year.
  3. May the roads rise to meet you. May the wind be at your back. May the sun shine warm upon your face; The rain fall soft upon your fields And, until we meet again, May God hold you in the palm of His hand. An Irish Blessing
  4. Yup I just ran out to the garage....Its a 20 incher also. Are you bringing that baby to Macungie this year Joe?
  5. Thanks so much Joe, Im elated!. I figured they would screw with me....but I got *lucky* I guess. Shucks I never knew they made a smaller wheel. With that "armstrong" steering I think you would need every inch of leverage.....I'll measure mine and get back to ya. Do you have any pictures of your B67 I'd love to see it.
  6. I received my packet from the Mack museum today in regards to my B67. Not too mention my Antique title and plate!!!!!!! All in the same day!!!! Now it looks like I need to invest in the service manuals to decipher all of the codes. However this is the first piece of info. on my cover sheet. Very interesting....But blows my mind because I always thought this one was built in the Plainfield N.J. plant, being that it has the Plainfield plate on the door.... "Records indicate Mack Truck B67T 8964 was assembled in the Mack Trucks Inc. assembly plant in Allentown, Pa having a production line placement date of July 8,1963 and a finish date of July 13,1963. Upon completion, this truck was assigned to the Mack Trucks factory dealership, Uttal Mack Trucks Inc. of Norristown PA, and then delivered to Hall's Motor Transit Co on July 15, 1963." The rest of the records indicate that it was delivered to Hall's Motor Transit in Harrisburg Pa. Im thrilled to know this about Dads old truck...Still trying to figure out the cab though. Build sheet indicates that it was built with the CA32 cab. So now was the CA32 the concave or standard. The other option is a CA 212 designation. I have it here in black and white but still don't know the damn difference. Ha... Also turns out it came from the factory with a set of the pretty round ALUMINUM tanks.....So now the search will be on for my passenger side tank....
  7. The luck of the Irish was with this Irishman today!!! Some of you may be happy to know my new antique title and license plate showed up in the mail today!!!!!!!!!! No problems and no issues with Harrisburg. It just showed up. As If that isnt exciting enough...... My packet from the Mack Museum showed up with all the info for my B67!!!!!!! What can I say? I guess Its in the name, Shawn Patrick Barrett...... Im gonna have a drink....or two and celebrate!!!! Cheers!!!!

  9. Hmmmm where have I seen this before? Original.....NOT. And somebody should be SHOT for wrecking those truck.
  10. I'd definitely go after that black one... I wouldn't give him 40 grand though
  11. Id like to get all the rest that they offer in the big truck series....
  12. Hmmm.......good luck deciding buddy LOL
  13. Just replied to a post by BigDogTrucker with his newly acquired B75 with a Quadruplex about the transmission and shifting it....and it inspired me to point out this DVD to everyone. I think its a MUST HAVE for just about everybody in this here fine establishment. Check out this 2 disc DVD by Long Road Productions if you don't already have it. Especially if you are a young buck and didn't grow up driving trucks with two sticks but are dying to know how and to try it. These old timers take the time to talk us through it in this DVD. $25 bucks and its well worth it. Myself and a buddy of mine were taking notes when we watched it. http://www.longroadp...ck_frameset.htm
  14. Well there ya have it... Its a quadruplex. You'll be shifting the compound 4 times in every gear of the main...give or take. Probably not necessary empty. Theres a plethora of possibilities hahah. Theres enough gears in that or should I say torque multipliers too pull down the house! Good luck learning how to master that beast. Go and order this DVD that the old timers put together for us....It'll help. http://www.longroadpro.com/2stick_frameset.htm
  15. Whats the deal with the "garage" photos. Seems nobody can get their photos to be accepted in that section....there is new trucks added everyday but the pics are blank. Everywhere else the pics take but here they are "too big" or something......Dont know kinda screwy. Seems like the place where everyone can have their vehicle associated with their name and profile....but it doesnt seem to work that well. We have a ton of members and profiles and a whole lot of blank pics in that area.
  16. Let me know how it turns out...That would be awesome if thats the correct size for you too. I cant imagine its gonna be too different. But if your Mack dealer is anything like mine they should have a quite a few of these available to get you where you need to be.
  17. My first love 1968 Dodge Charger...shortly after I started disassembling for resto. Brought this home when I was 15
  18. Just went through this 2 weeks ago...pretty damn sure this will help you...post #13 sums it up. http://www.bigmacktr...3553-fan-belts/
  19. Sweet looking rig! And its an Eaton-Fuller.....little steep on the price for the mileage but its prob. about $10,000 cheaper than the long chassis isnt it? And already "bite sized".....lol Thats nice man, real nice.
  20. Yup...certainly do. I wish him luck. Hope somebody can save the other trucks too.....
  21. Thanks for that insight Brian/Mark....I'll have to keep my eyes peeled.
