Yes-- you can use the solenoid on the 12/24. You still use the existing wiring to the starter switch and eliminate the 24v side.

40MT 12 volt starter. I used the upper solenoid of the 12-14 switch to engage the starter.

Most of the product sold at SLC are made in Ohio and New York state.
