    I have seen 2 double frame trucks with a row of zerk grease fittings down the center of the frame rail about 18" apart. Pump the grease in and slime the rust. Sloppy but seems to work.

    Keep in mind that Lancaster County is very busy with every kind of tourist that weekend. You can spend a lot of time looking for a room if you don't have a reservation (you can almost alway find one, but it may take a lot of stops). The voice of experience.

    Slathering POR 15 between the rails will just make it harder to do right. The only way to fix it right is the hard way- separate them--

    While at the HCEA show last weekend, a guy came up and offered to trade his wife for my truck. I didn't get a look at her. What are your thoughts? I think I know which would be more expensive----

    Depending on the age, strong solvent can be a bad idea in an air tank- some older ones were lined with a plastic coating. Use a degreaser (citrus based) followed by detergent (spic and span or industrial purple by zep), lots of agitation and rinsing (don't use IP if it is an aluminum tank).

    Chassis # 001325 was built as a Magnum. It was sold by Watt's. Built about April 4, 1985

    There was a young man and his father at the show last weekend making computer enhanced photos. Does anyone have his contact information- phone number and email? Maybe a scan of the business card? I had his card but didn't make it home with it. Thanks

    The red RW (the third from the left) is one of many work trucks belonging to Bob Burkhouse (Clectracbob), The B61 is Thunderdog's (Travis Asel). The RW on the left is Robbin's of Cambridge Spring, PA (operated by Mark Yoos- father of Yoos Brothers Construction),and the black RW 613 is mine. There is another B61 hidden off to the left belonging to Jeff Bell. Duffy's Titan is across the street.

    Does anybody have a wiring diagram or knowledge of the wiring for the front and rear rear end temperature gauges? I have the generic diagram in the Mack service manual but can find nothing on these two gauges. They don't work at all. All I have is two separate single # 14 wires coming from the rears and stopping up by the short wire strip (5 terminal) on the fire wall on the right side. There doesn't seem to be any continuity from the gauges to anything on that side of the panel. Any ideas?

    I guess that this was a good investment for the B75 in August, 1998 (this one was back ordered). The right hand side was $ 138.50 delivered in February of 1998.

    I keep trying to spend Pete's money- will try again this weekend at Mantua. There is a least 1 RW 613 Magnum working every day in NW PA.

    All of the Superliner Magnums were model RW 613 with a year of 1985. They were available with 400, 450 and 500 hp versions of the E9 V8. This one was not built by the factory as a Magnum. (There were 64 MH 613 cabovers made with the Magnum option package)

    While you're at it-- the casting around the headlights is also aluminum casting- It needs paint removal and polishing too---

    Dave- I never did hear the "rest of the story". How did they unload the 54B? Over the side? Over the back?
