Everyonce inawhile i come across an older R Model that has the Sqaure headlights in the hood like a SuperLiner insted of the round headlights like a older R600 series Are these made from the factory as an option or are these made as a aftermarket part they are out there but somewhat rare I think its a cool look on the older R Models but like i said its somewhat rare like the sliding glass windows in the R Models later yall

Ultraliner is in the Cabovers like Mackdog said examples Are : F ,MH & WS (cruiseliner) Here in the states The Superliner was available in a 600 or 700 Series depending on what Specs ya wanted The 700 series carried the E9 Mack Motors Cummins ,Cat motors & I have seen an ocassional Detroit motor in a 700 seires in a Superliner hope this helps & later yall IMOP The SuperDog was the Granddaddy of the R Models

  6. heres a link over towards Hanks truck pictures where they talk bout the Mack motors look under mike malone he talks bout the econodyne & maxidyne , thermodyne motors & i didnt realize they had a board there & now that trent refreshes the memory i belive thats right i belive the TQ Ratings were Lower & hp was higher thats a Screamin jimmy that were called "fuel pinchers" DUH lol Brain fart but i do remember the dealer telling us when we bought a 89 R Model & they came out the econodyne was supposed to be better on fuel than the Maxidyne later

Ya some of my trucks were jimmys & i like em (just another class 8 Truck gone due to V%*V%'s ) THose ole 2 troke jimmy motors are part the reason for my hear loss @ my young age of 32 but i like em anyway for more reasons than the sound i agree w/ other that looks like a late 40's to early 50's 900 id like to hear em run later yall

  12. Yup it is the cab & the oval muffler @ the bottom of the pipe gives it away & A 237 & 2 Stick 6 spd is 1 good combination w/ 20k f/a & 44k r/a it ought to be an awsome truck in the dirt & mud i know the DM's we had were good looking truck too OH Ya to BMT Glad your here w/ us later yall

Sounded like a cool truck sounds like the current bowtie will be just as cool to BMT IVe been around the since birth im named after a B model HAVE DRIVRIN, worked on & Owned them & wouldnt mind building a R Model pickup so ive got the virus just as bad & since the death of my granddad in 05' its been a long wait of owning another DM But next spring looks like im finally back in the cab of a THAT I OWN Everday later Bulldog

IM 32 & Listen to Country , Rock, bluegrass & blues (esp the MS Delta blues like BB King , Rl burnside for example since the delta is only bout 20 miles south of Memphis & 50 miles south of me ) Lotta outlaw style country Pink Floyd , Aerosmith classic rock in general newer style rock (like nickelback) Metal (i e mettalica a/c dc etc) Not much on rap later

    My 64' B422T That is my namesake & was the oldest truck in what was my granddad's & Dads small fleet of bout 4 trucks in the excavating business we had this is the 1 truck that stayed & NEVER got traded or sold off esp in my granddad's estate (cause it's TITLED in MY NAME Since 1996) Mechanically hes in good shape other than new gauge cluster (pull start less than 20' ) BUT he needs some paint & body work where the rust is in the floor board on passenger side basically cosmetic & the window put in on passenger side (which i have ) & new chrome Stright pipe (Explain to me whats a muffler again ? ) want to update the 711 (not original motor was a 438 :mack gas orig) to a 300 or 350 4V & Put pilot hubs & alcoa wheels on just need a shop or a pole barn again to get him to where i can work on him this winter Not the best pic of "olddog" yall (it was taken w/ my phone ) but plan to get better pics w/ friends digital camera more pics to come yall

  22. My grandparents took myself & my sister to see road warrior when i was 8 years old when it came out in theaters . THIS WAS THE 1ST TIME I HERD AN AIR STARTER ON A TRUCK I JUMPED OUT MY SEAT IT SCARED ME SO MUCH To this day i still jump @ the sound of an air starter if i anit expecting it .... later yall
