  1. here in the Memphis , Tn area we started off slow & slowly picked up over all for us Rock, sand & dirt (in my case all the above plus mulch & demolition, brush & shred steel also) not a bad year . this coming year lookin forward to be BACK OUT on MY OWN W/a CH or R Model tractor truck pulling a end dump, walking floor , lowboy & grain trailer (for a buddy of mine who farms ) & also containers during the slow part of constuction & harvest season after working for my buddies for almost 3 years (which was my granddad's foreman for 30 years in my family's excavating business) after my granddads passing & shutting the family business down after probate court made me do it (which was a 45 year old excavating co ) im ready to go back out on my own w/ my own authority AGAIN & already got the work lined up for a tractor truck Later yall
  2. The driver that drove the truck in my avatar looked like a thin verson of Santa Clause hence it was his handle on the radio in the rock & sand pits & our truck got the name of the "RED SLIEGH" So Santa drove a 87' R Model later yall & Again Merry Chirstmas from West,TN

  4. to BMT sounds like yall have the fever like the rest of us here & a few W/ the exception of an couple of GMC's & a couple of Autocar's thats all we ran in our excavating business til my granddad passed bout 3 years ago was & i was able to save my name sake from the sale due to it was titled in my name a 64' B422T glad youre here w/ us later

Congrats Joe find a place to put a GOLD BULLDOG on the Stroller . or if ya got the 2008 Mack shop catalog yet ya could get em a couple of the baby sleeppers that have intake on the front w/ an arrow towards mouth w/ mack in center front & exhaust on back w/ arrow pointing down towards the diaper area im ordering one for my Goddaughter they range from 6 months to 24 months later bro joe & congrats again

    Truck was orig a tractor w/ factory double frame Specs were 300 4v econodyne motor Turned to 350 hp w/ belly blower exhaust 2 Stick 6spd double framed 14k f/a 38k r/a on 44k camelback 15' bed 11R22.5 tires on Budd wheels W/ 4:17 ratio gears This was nicked named the "RED SLEIGH" Because the driver looked like a thin verson of Santa clause w/ the white hair, mustache &white beard he had . I miss this truck i had to sell it due to my granddads death & Probate court ordered everything sold

Ohio must have some tough bridge laws here in TN Ya are allowed up to 24.5 tons on a Tricycle & 20 tons on a tandem but they are talking bout changing our weight laws here as well as the qaud axles are finally filtering down here in my part of Tn But go to Ar or Ms they dont reconize the extra axles weight wise (15tons) but if ya have the extra axles & ya are loaded ya better use them if caught not using them loaded in AR Or MS the fine is very costly i know someone who was busted not using his in MS the fine was around $1200.00 bucks (just for not having the 3rd axle down ) later

Ya otherdog ive posted on both of these (b422tmack ) We had a 74' GMC 9500 s/a tractror "Lil Jim" w/ a 671 (or aka 238) w/ a 5& 2 belly blower exhaust w/ exhaust tip pointed out to the side insted of down . bought brand new i grew up w/ the truck(1 year apart in age tween me & "lil jim") &We had 1 driver for this truck since it was new & he could bump the govner on the 238 before shiffting like the fella in the video & black smoke rolling out under the frame & the ole 238 singing to ya every once in awhile our driver would let me drive "lil jim" he was the driver that tauught me how to drive a 2 Stroke Detroit loved to hear "lil jim" & "olddog" work together during harvest season pulling the hills out of the bottom land loaded & also on jobsites pulling lowboys & dumptrailers & of course "lil jim" running under an overpass & the sound of the 238 echoing against the wall In 2001 my granddad traded "lil jim" for a 4WD Kawasaki 4 Wheeler i didnt talk to him for a week straight not even on the job i miss the ole truck these videos remind me of our driver for lil jim he could drive a 238 Just like that later yall
  21. ya "olddog" dosent run but 49mph to 50mph i bet he be hell in a in slow race too W/ A 6:14 Ratio r/a I remember when i was growing up riding in olddog before DOT was bad on a Single axle carrying alot of weight & we had to go to a tandem tractor my granddad great uncle & dad was driving & i know he will pull 1200 bushels of soybeans & Wheat & a D7G LGP Cat dozer & 225 Cat trackhoe & 955L Cat loader w/o any problems & the ole 711 will bark & growl & sound sweet pulling the hills coming out of the river bottom land around here later
