  1. That will give you an idea of what your looking Like mack attack said pull the end caps get the weight off the suspension give it some grease and see if it gets to the bottom

  3. Had a stud pilot rim do that when it was cracked. Just another thought
  4. Have you jacked it up by the frame so the weight is off the suspension. That’s the correct way to do it

  6. We were all just sitting around one night shooting the breeze and a buddy said the only thing you haven’t tried is a new comp so the next day just for nothing we changed it. Bam no more vibration
  7. I know this is a little late here but years ago I had a compressor give me a bad vibration and that was the last thing I changed found it by accident
  8. Did you check the coolant level ? That will make it go off
  9. Been using stemco 2 piece grit guard for many years with no failures at all. I like the 2 piece because we run many old trucks with pitting on the seal surface all you need is the correct seal installer and good to go. Just my opinion yours may vary

    Heated Bed

    No need to heat the body besides if you do they only rot from the inside out I don’t like heated bodies myself just thoughts
  12. check for a collapsed radiator hose on the inside that will drive you crazy seen that happen many times and it left guys scratching heads until it was found just an idea to check

  14. did you check the charge air cooler for metal ?
  15. you can always put a single wire alt in it and do away with the old style alt and reg
  16. what do you run to predict a weather station with crew chief or just the wet finger in the air ...congrats I remember when you could be off by a tenth or two but now its so tight you cant even eat lunch or the extra weight puts you off
  17. check your upper and lower hoses I have seen them collapse internally..and drive people crazy trying to figure the over heating out..just a thought
  18. the 52 quart pan i beieve usually came with a bigger radiator also it was for extended life longer range changes and better cooling..ive worked on a few with the big pan the funy thing is the big pan and smaller pan use the same length pick up so even with the big pan dont run your oil any lower cause the pick up height is the same
