  1. Is your headliner vinyl or cloth? It looks like cloth in the pics.
  2. I have no experience polishing but White Diamond was recommended to me. It can be bought at Advance Auto Parts. I am going to try it this winter on my tanks and bumper. Saw a demo at Mid-America and looked good. Prefer something like WD instead of acid cleaning/wash then polish.
  3. I am no paint expert but just a thought... Perhaps blast with walnut shells, glass beads, or plastic abrasive. This would, in my novice opinion, strip the paint and semi-polish the tanks. Hopefully someone else may have a "better" answer to your question.
  4. Ref. pic taken in front of the WHq...did you notice the gray jackets worn by the three (3) gentleman?
  5. Congrats on your purchase. Good lookin' IH. Now the fun begins. Looking forward to seeing it at Macungie.
  6. Auction ended....final bid $5000. Who bought my truck?
  7. If you click on the picture it will open enlarged. Clearly on the front is the IH symbol and on the fender is INTERNATIONAL ACO. The sign states Sightliner.
  8. Mentioned in the same issue is an article on the T200 transmissions. If you have that article, a scan/post would be appreciated. Thanks!
  9. Was at Macunge 2011 and 2013 too.
  10. I am looking for topoff. Complete refill, I agree...buy the concentrate and distilled water and mix your own. Who markets "red"?
  11. Not saying you are wrong. The "2" is listed in a more recent Mack VIN decoder. A glider kit would be 2M3. 2 = Glider M = Mack 3 = Glider Kit Looking at the MH VIN listed above, it makes NO SENSE. The last six (6) digits should be 00xxxx. And just before should be a M = Macungie (example M001234).
  12. The "2" indicates a glider kit.
  13. Burning oil creates BLUE smoke. Unburned fuel is white. Coolant can also be whitish.
  14. I would like those aluminum air tanks.
  15. YES! Does it just attach to the headliner or is there a "back support/reinforcement"?
  16. congrats! I never was a cigarette smoker but I do enjoy an occasional cigar (cheap ones - Swisher Sweets). But I can appreciate your feelings....I am addicted to food...never get enough and it shows.
  17. Maybe Rick will post some pics in the Gallery for us to see.
  18. You can always send your VIN and parts questions to Barry at Watt's.
  19. I have well over 150 toy farm tractors, some are Precision. Most are 1/16 scale. A few are on shelves in my junk room office but the vast majority are still in their original boxes stuffed in the basement. My Cockshutt collector tractors are on the shelves in the family room.
  20. If it is a late model truck (1990 and newer), you can get the VRI (Vehicle Record Index) from your local dealer. This will provide you with arrangement numbers. If it is older you contact the Mack Museum. The Museum is the best place to get COMPLETE build info on your truck. The Museum does this free of charge but a donation is in order. http://www.macktrucks.com/default.aspx?pageid=40 Neither one will provide specific part number info. To get individual part numbers, you will need to order a parts book from your local dealer however it is very expensive. http://www.macktrucks.com/default.aspx?pageid=449
