  1. congrats! I never was a cigarette smoker but I do enjoy an occasional cigar (cheap ones - Swisher Sweets). But I can appreciate your feelings....I am addicted to food...never get enough and it shows.
  2. Maybe Rick will post some pics in the Gallery for us to see.
  3. You can always send your VIN and parts questions to Barry at Watt's.
  4. I have well over 150 toy farm tractors, some are Precision. Most are 1/16 scale. A few are on shelves in my junk room office but the vast majority are still in their original boxes stuffed in the basement. My Cockshutt collector tractors are on the shelves in the family room.
  5. If it is a late model truck (1990 and newer), you can get the VRI (Vehicle Record Index) from your local dealer. This will provide you with arrangement numbers. If it is older you contact the Mack Museum. The Museum is the best place to get COMPLETE build info on your truck. The Museum does this free of charge but a donation is in order. http://www.macktrucks.com/default.aspx?pageid=40 Neither one will provide specific part number info. To get individual part numbers, you will need to order a parts book from your local dealer however it is very expensive. http://www.macktrucks.com/default.aspx?pageid=449
  6. The gold and white F model (with flat bed trailer attached) was a Mack test truck. It belongs to Jay - fixit4162,
  7. Thanks for posting the Ultra-Liner article. I am too old to wet my pants (well you know). What happened to the "sales aids"? I too am looking for the part number for the reading/map lamp mounted in the headliner (or a VERY NICE one). I want to upgrade my interior to the one shown on page 20.
  8. Outta "likes" Mark and thanks!
  9. Welcome! Where you live?
  10. Way to go Rick!
  11. Thanks! Not to get off subject, but it would be nice to see a Bulldog article (if one exists) on Martin's MHs. Does anyone know of a Bulldog article index?
  12. Heave ho it's off to work we go... Only heavy breathing in the movies I watch...
  13. Brent - what is the feature tractor for 2014? Farm Show Directory will not arrive until March 2014.
  14. Thanks for posting! Interesting article. The article mentions A&B Mack; Chambersburg, PA. A&B Mack is no longer in business but that is where my MH and other MHs at Martin's were purchased. The old A&B building is near Martin's (you can see Martin's building behind the garage).
  15. Welcome back ECD. I miss seeing your posts. Merry Christmas and Happy New Year!
  16. Congrats on organizing a Chapter. Keep us updated on show(s), location(s), and dates.
  17. In the Mack Museum/Customer Center hanging on the back wall of the Mod Center...
  18. Maybe you can "rent" it to our Aussie friends when they visit the US.
  19. Many many months ago there was some discussion about removal of the Bulldog from the WHq building. Well I FINALLY found a couple pics. The third and fouth ones were posted previously by another person. Enjoy (or cry in your beer).
  20. Snowing here in Canton. Received 5"-6" since this morning. Shoveled the driveway twice.
  21. Econodyne blue? It is to be an EM6 Maxi. Red with chrome?....hmmm, something is amiss.
  22. This is a E6 2 valve (stamped steel valve covers)...
  23. True, 1:1 is a direct straight thru without any gears or loss. Overdrive uses a gear set (drive loss) to obtain a 0.73 or ??? ratio (potentially more wear on gears and bearings). I also agree, you need to run a fast axle ratio (low number) but it does not work very well in hills or off-road. I have a friend who managed a mid-Western fleet and ran 10speed directs because he achieved better fuel mileage
  24. I will! Echo the "thanks for the POTW". I enjoy seeing what you see. As for the Winfall wimmin...well I can't wait for your computer to get fixed. As "tacky" as they are a few wimmin pics add some "color" to the POTW thread. Wine in a jar?
