  1. Anyone who attended Mack Truckoberfest....do you recognize the background?
  2. That would keep the DOT Inspector busy for awhile!
  3. And that is several hours later and sometimes on a separate trip!
  4. I would like a pair of old style non-sail with anti-spray whiskers. Make that two (2) pairs... I have "hinted" to Barry!!
  5. I went to Sears on Saturday to buy two (2) battery maintainers (on sale for $17.99)....well I walked out with six (6) maintainers (one cannot have too many of these), two (2) battery powered LED trouble lights (on sale half price)(one for OH and one for PA), and a battery powered hedge trimmer (for OH since I already have one in PA). I did all of this within an hour! My philosophy "go in, get it, pay for it, and get out"!
  6. Mike - wish your mom well with her surgery! And keep your chin up. I am going thru issues with my mother (actually for the past year). Remember, our moms took care of us when we were younger, now it is our turn to take care of them. Things will work out just keep the faith!! Enjoy her company while you can.
  7. shed....do you mean "she would" if so then it is "she'd"....didn't you study contractions in English class? Just sayin'
  8. Yes Don was a "spokes person" for Dodge trucks in the late 60s and early 70s. There are a few commercials with Don on YouTube. I have an ad somewhere of Don with a cabover Dodge. I will post if and when I find it.
  9. Mike - good news!
  10. Anyone of these ladies could play with my shifter!
  11. I don't think we want to go there!
  12. Hmmm, no wonder you don't have time to pickup female hitchhikers!
  13. JJ, Deleting emission equipment is ILLEGAL here in the states. Therefore, no one on this forum is likely able to help you "override" any emissions controls. I am sure there are companies that offer assistance with your friend's issue. Perhaps someone will send you a PM with information but you will not see it published on a public forum. Electronic engines have many sensors and built-in checks and diagnostics that it is not easy to disable much if anything. Sorry you feel no one is giving you a straight answer. This forum is still the best place for information about Macks.
  14. I think the word is "watermark". Better lay off those pain pills SD! BTW, how are you doing lately? Is the shoulder SLOWLY getting better?
  15. Leversole tried to help but with no luck. I did however find a solution. I opened the files with my photochop program (Photo Pos Pro) and resaved the images with NO modifications. I am now able to open the files with Windows Picture and Fax Viewer. BTSOOM!
  16. And Superdog wonders why my sleeper is not made!
  17. I usually pack: tool set (sockets, wrenches, etc.)(both english and metric), cordless 1/2" power wrench, 1/2" driver with bits, coolant, oil, spare filters (oil and fuel), air hose that connects to glad hand, coveralls, gloves, windshield washer fluid, fuel additive, general purpose cleaner, paper towels, and water/snack bars just in case you get stranded. Some TP and wet towels aren't a bad idea either. Do you have a spare tire for your trailer, if so, take it too. Good luck and drive safe.
  18. new name...."shifter"....i like it!
  19. Sent you a PM.
  20. Go for it! Your camper trailer would look good behind it!
  21. I double checked the file extension....JPG. And I also renamed and saved the pic as xxxxx.jpg with the extension in the name and still nothing. I can open the pic file with Quicktime but not Windows. I can "save as" from other sites and open with Windows, just not Truck Paper. I guess I am not supposed to consider buying this item.
  22. Does anyone know how to save copies of images published in Truck Paper? I click on "View Full Size", then "right click", and "save picture as". When I try to view it with Windows Picture Viewer I get the following message "drawing failed". What am I doing wrong?
  23. Tittsburgh = Pittsburgh.....old joke! I will tell you sometine if you never heard it. Middlesex is near Carlisle/Harrisburg West Middlesex is near Sharon, PA (PA/OH line)
