  2. Nice truck (and pics) Brad!

  4. Reminds me of a joke...guy went to the doctor to get a physical. Part of the physical involved checking his prostrate so he bent over. The doc put his left hand on his left shoulder and his right hand on his right shoulder....why that SOB! I didn't say the joke was funny! Hope this didn't happen to you during your DOT physical.
  5. Wow! I must be staying at too many Stupid 8 motels!
  6. Happy Birthday from one MH to another! Enjoy!
  7. Another reason NOT to visit NYC!
  8. OD your are asking for trouble. Larry is a die hard FORD (and Mack) man! P.S. Put a FORD emblem on the front and maybe he will not notice! Stranger things have happened.
  9. Good suggestion David. Here is the contact number for Adelman's; Canton, OH 800.643.2001. www.adelmans.com
  10. And what was the outcome?
  11. I looked at the truck, took pictures, and gave what I thought was an honest evaluation. I didn't say it couldn't be saved. If one has the money and time...go for it! Personally I would rather pay more for a running truck. Just sayin'.
  12. staxx, on 09 December 2012 - 11:43 PM, said: I am only at BMT Veteran VIP here now , how do I get to idiot status ? OD would know... notice the 2 screws! But he does post informative and interesting trip pics.
  13. Congratulations! Keep up the good work! I am going to be in Nashville in March 2013 (Opryland Hotel) to attend the annual TMC conference and expo. If I have some free time I may try to stop by. Any MH parts trucks sitting around?
  14. Were any inline DD engines available in the Transtar?
  15. Interesting video. Thanks for posting it. The Superdog V8 is the one that did the burnout at Macktoberfest. I can't remember the guy's name. Not only does he drag race he also participates in truck pulls. I have seen some videos on YouTube.
  16. Sounds like a keeper. Again, very nice work!
  17. You must be talking about next to the feed mill in New Alex! See them everytime I pass by on 22. Always wondered what was in the garage.
  18. My next non-Mack truck will have a purrin kitty cat 3406 in it (but dream of a 3408). Spent 10 years of my life playing working with them in Mossville, IL. BTW, this is post 1000 for me. Look out guys I am on a roll!
  19. Good luck! I don't do Facebook or other "social" media. Sorry!
  20. I vote for a flat tax! And you are right about the "rich". I read an article that states what you said. They will cut jobs, raise prices, etc. to keep their "income" the same. The loser in this deal is the middle person. Bend over and say thank you.
  21. Wow, I would HAVE TIME to pick her up. Maybe a game or two of motorboating. The guy in the car looks pissed that he is going the wrong way.
  22. I thought OD was pulling out from an alley and used his superduper telephoto lens. Maybe he was mistaken which town he was traveling thru. OD makes the rounds and seems to see "interesting" sites everywhere he goes.
  23. Nice looking trailer. Good job!
  24. I believe the air compressor was mounted on the rear of a Detroit.
  25. Nice looking Transtar. Too bad he didn't romp on the throttle. Did you view the 1974 w/8v71 video? Shifting w/o clutch. Sweet!
