    Not sure why is it called an Amercian Pot but... Most of us old country farts never had indoor plumbing (bathroom with shitter). We had an outhouse (usually a two-holer just in case someone else needed it while you were in there). In the middle of the night (especially winter) you did not want to be tripping to the outhouse to "take care of business". A "pot" was something used in the house that you did your "business" in. It was usually a decorative ceramic large container with a lid. You emptied and cleaned it each day. Us poor folks just used a galvanized bucket. You asked, now you know!

    Carl - I agree! I should have bought a few HEMI Cudas when they were about $4K or a few Plymouth Superbirds when dealers could barely get people to buy them. But hindsight is 20/20.

    If the vehicle is spec'd with a GCVW of 26,000 or less, you should not need a CDL. If you talked to the local authorities, get it in writing and keep a copy in the vehicle just in case you get questioned.

    Saw a few PA Turnpike RD Macks this morning. I noticed the hood sides match up with the front cowl of the cab. Is the RD cab the same as the RW Superliner?

    I'm with Vinny...HATE snakes. I do most of my "junk" yarding in the winter, also no weeds or bees. But it can be COLD!

    I will take Hooters over Tilted Kilt. Something about hose that adds a touch of class. Although I do like TK's tops. Too bad alot of Hooters are closing their doors.

    Courtesy flash??? I never got any during the 400 mile Macungie trip last week. I gave every truck a "courtesy flash" that passed me and very few "signaled" back. I am beginning to think these new drivers have no idea what a "courtesy flash" means. Although the DRL (daytime running lights) make it more difficult to recognize.

    I have seen and talked to him at Gerhart's. Never really knew the man but could tell he was a Mack enthusiast. Sorry to hear of his passing. My condolences to his family. RIP!
