  1. Hard to believe. If I remember the dealer form...it asked for the serial number and the GSO. They send it to Mack and your parts book (or CD) is generated and sent to the dealer for pickup. Send a note to Barry and perhaps he can help. From the Mack website: http://www.macktrucks.com/default.aspx?pageid=449 Parts Publications Customized Parts Books (Class 8) (Available for units built from 1976 to present.) Customized Parts Books are produced upon request and provide service parts information for a single vehicle or multiple vehicles built under a single General Sales Order. The hard-cover book is comprised of a chassis record and illustrated service parts lists that reflect the parts used. For Customized Parts Books (Paper), order publication PV512-M14. For Customized Parts Books (DVD), order publication PV776-IMPACT-MACK-DVD Use eMedia to order these items.
  2. Mike, There will always be shows to attend and Watt's show should be just as good or better next year. Your priority now is to take care of yourself!
  3. I thought an o-ring is worn and causing the leak. I agree...replace. Is there a way to determine the manufacturer without "looking" at the valve? Is the Mack part number exclusive to a manufacturer? I am in OH this week and will not be able to put an eye on it until next week. I sent a PM to Barry.
  4. Trucks going the route of automobiles...few options and available only in a package. You can thank the European influence - those people know what you want!
  5. Nice load of Chebbies!
  6. Just a reminder to those planning to attend...BMT group photo at 12N. Meet at the registration table at the entrance gate. If I remember correctly, there were a few members who missed the 2012 photo because they were BSing talking trucks.
  7. I had to order my parts book thru a dealer. The cost several years ago was about $250. You can get either a hard (paper) copy or CD.
  8. When I shutdown I can hear air leaking at the tractor parking valve (yellow knob). If I turn it or quickly push in/pull out it will sometimes stop. Are these rebuildable or just replace? Does it make a difference which brand (Bendix, Haldex, etc.) I use for a replacement? How do I know what brand is installed now? BTW, the part number is 20QE2167. Thanks for any info.
  9. Vinny would be a good candidate....but he is a little "off center" and too young. Ben would be a second choice but he likes driptroits. Barry will need to rename this site...BMT Matchmaker.
  10. DON'T GO THERE!!
  11. Perhaps you already checked....fleaBay or Craigslist. You may find one at an auction (AuctionZip.com).
  12. Yes....DON'T ASK! Easy now Hat!
  13. Katie, Southern food is very tasty. Of course most food meets with my approval (and it shows - dunlaps disease). You need to come to Lititz in October and sample some good "northern" and "PA Dutch" food. Friday night is the clam bake with lots of other food including MAJOR desserts. While in the area you need to sample pork and sauerkraut and shoefly pie. Yum Yum!
  14. I am jealous Mike. But as the saying goes....it is never big enough. I would settle for a 40x60x14.
  15. Hi Tom and Welcome back to the funny farm BMT. Good to see and talk with you at Lakemont. You will find most of us BMT junkies want pictures which I know you have. What is the status of the H63? Did you get it home yet?
  16. I have a feeling Katie is going to abandon ship! Way to go Randy! Or maybe stuff (in Randy) #3 where the sun doesn't shine.
  17. Nice RD!
  18. Welcome! Click on "More Reply Options". At the bottom you will see "Attach Files" then go to your folder with the file/pic.
  19. Hey OD - looks like you might have some competition!
  20. Thanks for the update. Now the real fun begins.
  21. Nice video Vinny. Like I posted before, put a hood and bumper on it and take it to Gerhart's. You may want to install new belts too.
  22. Nice looking truck. I thought the CF was the best looking one of the litter but lately I prefer a R model.
  23. Like Randy FWD posted, the ATCA show in Macungie is the best place (mark you calendar for 2014 - be there). This year had the largest number of BMT members present. The next "big" event will be Gerhart's All Mack show in Lititz, PA on October 4th. I am sure Doug Maney will post more info in the coming weeks. But are you prepared to meet us? We will need to take a shower/bath and put on clean clothes.
  24. Relisting on CL keeps it recent (more visibility), but based on other replies here he is not serious about selling it. Maybe he "gets off" on the number of phone calls received. If I lived closer and had the time, I would show up on his door step.
  25. I think my MH has more leg room than a KW T800.
