Thank you for sharing Dave... It is a solid story. Im blessed to work for my city. My coverage is $20/month on the buy up plan. My wife is fully covered by it at $185.00 / pay check, every 2 weeks. So just under $400.00/ month

I wonder if the groove was for an E-Clip.. -
Im not sure on the gap size for a Lipe clutch, but the newer ones are set to 1/2" between clutch brake and throughout bearing, and 1/8" between fork tips and throughout bearing. Sorry i dont know the metric numbers . I guess 13 mm and 3 mm...

Set the clutch gaps first, then, if needed go to the arm.

Bob.... I did not use sealer at this time. When i am sure that i will not remove the covers again, i may put a light coating on one side of the gasket, however, the rubber gaskets were good quality. -
You reckon he can use a temperature gun on the exh manifold to find the bad cylinder?

Ok. So you suspect raw fuel as the source of the white smoke? You say its a '91 E-6... Shouldnt it be an E-7? And has the injection pump timing been changed or checked recently? When was valve lash checked last?

It should be P-1,P-2,P-3. But his is likely not an oversized bearing. O may have the journal measurements in my books.
