  1. on a stand, but i have to take it off the stand to put the flywheel housing on. it is a home made stand. (not made by me)
  2. was there ever a snap ring in that groove to keep the bolts from falling out of the valve cover when loosened? I don't know much about the small details of END's. This is my first full rebuild.
  3. I put that liner press together after my tired arms and shoulders told me to do something else or ''we are quitting''..
  4. Well, I had a few hours to get back on the ENDT 673.. Did some blasting and priming. I also tried to fix the brass coolant pipe. It was dented pretty good, and had a slight bend in it. I got lucky, a piece of fence pipe was enough to rough in the round shape, and then I used a wrist pin from a John Deere 3179DF engine to finish it.. The wrist pin was a perfect fit.. I couldnt get it perfect, but I also didnt want to knock a hole or crack in the pipe, so I stooped here..
  5. This is for FJH.. This is where I got my wheel cyl's from.. Good cust. service..
  6. Thanks, just this 1 picture. Dont want to step on the thread. jojo
  7. I feel your pain.. The same thing happened to me with my KB-7 wheel cyls.. I got lucky, the seller sent me the right ones before I returned the wrong ones..

  9. I know that some forklifts I've done, had to push the fluid from the slave to the master. I used a mighty vac hand pump.. hope this is of help to you...

  11. The glider kits that I've seen had, GK, in the vin.. just tossing that out there.
  12. ok, its my bedtime, I expect others will add to this. I will check back tomorrow
  13. can you post a good picture of your intake manifold? as far as re-programming, I dont know the history of the truck. I always look at the simple things first. these EECU's are pretty tough, unless it was struck by lightning or in a major wreck, I would not look at the EECU.
  14. go to Mack E-Media website.. also, make up a foot long wire with medium sized alligator clips on each end, and clean a spot on the EECU and clip one end there, then clean a spot on the engine or a bolt, whatever, and clip the other end there. then drive the truck.. if its runs good you can make a permanent ground wire..
  15. download the svc. bulletin for a 9-2 code and follow the procedures for cleaning the grounds.. I bet you have a bad ground, or even bad wires in the harness, which can be fixed if you find the damaged wire(s).
  16. Today I saw that, J.B. had the 'Tea Bag' to say that if you show him a border security bill that works, he would sign it.... We had a plan, and HE... J.B. stroked his pen on day-1, and did away with it and 20 other bills and policies.. W.T.F.??
  17. There is a company called ''Atro'' I have been able to get torque rods from them. You may need to measure the length ''on-center'' to find the correct ones..
  18. Ooops... I forgot to welcome you to the Dog Pound.. Jojo
  19. yep, aerated fuel.. can you pump the hand primer before trying to start it, to see if it starts quicker, if the hand primer leaks, its no good.
  20. even with an air dryer, you need to pull the cables daily.. Air dryers do good if maintained, but most just forget they are there, and water still collects in the tanks.. Air dryer + pulling the cables on the drains will help a lot.. Jojo
  21. Yes Bob has sent pictures to me.. We are 'Kin' ya' know...
