Well, im sitting in a lobby. I offered to be a CDL trainer a year ago, and now im going to my first session. I will be getting trained on how to train CDL drivers.. It should be informative. Funny part i was in trucking many years longer then the teacher. But its ok. Hopefully he is up to date on rule changes that happened recently.. 👍 -

Bud, i dont know what to think. Without trying to be a jerk,, My very first thought was that this shop doesnt know how to work with a truck of this era.. a computer truck would have shut itself off. Todays new diesel guys arent taught abought mechanical diesels because the time to educate that is time that can be used to get them to be good with a laptop for diagnostics. The new guys dont know any better.. -

This is an odd one.. Is the transmission stuck between gears , and the clutch is out of adjustment so it's locked up ? Did it just stop running or slowly die out ? Was it loading with fuel and it hydro locked? Im grabbing at straws.... -
Yep, I remember that style of pump now. There was an excentric on the input shaft HOUSING...

Just curious? If the lower counter shaft is omitted. How is the trans getting bathed in oil? Is there a pump added,? The fill plug is only so high up, so extra oil would just spill out. For a pto, would they have put the lower counter shaft in the #1 or #2 position so they could use a rear mounted unit, or did these engines have 'REPTO'S" ?

Im not smart enough to understand stocks.. but my small pile of cash doesnt change.. however, people tell me my money is losing value because the dollar is falling. So,, once again,, i dont understand.. oh well.. 🍻

The City os Salisbury asked some of us to do some community work at a local school. We planted 30 shrubs and spread 3 tandem loads of mulch today. I had the pleasure of piloting the Mack that brought the loader. It was a nice day at work..

Loosen the nut about 1/4" of gap, and strike the top of the pitman arm on that rectangle spot. Use a 5# mallet. It will pop loose. -
I forgot to ask... Were you able to get the wheel nut torque info you were lookin for ??
