  2. On axle nuts, I used to preload them at 200 lbft, back the nut off, and then go to 50 lbft, and move the nut according to lining up the holes for the cotter pin. Many times having to back the nut off a small amount.
  3. Ok. I hope these part numbers help you... Jojo
  4. I am trying to find info to make the search for a crank easier. Guys,,,, chime in here... It looks like the crank for an END and an E-6 2-Valve may be the same. If so, that may help with getting one, even though Macks are like hen's teeth is Ireland, but maybe there is a junker sittin somewhere that has a donor card..

  14. All that is good for sure.. there is a tool that sits on top of the coolant tank that can detect the exh gasses. You can get the tool at NAPA or any other parts store.. im still concerned about the high temps. Do you have an infrared temp gun to confirm the high temps.?
  15. Do you intend on pulling the engine ? Is it possible to have a machinist repair the crank shaft in your area ?
  16. No exhaust gasses in the coolant ?
  17. The Give-a-Damn about 911, faded years ago when Dems got more power in NYC. M. Cuomo, and E. Adams, A.O.C., C. Hochul, L. James and others...
  18. Yep, the control tower can be a pita.. still better than trying to drag the cover over the top of the tranny to go out the back, and you would have to open the hood, and jack the back if the cab as high as it can go without breaking a line under the hood,, blah blah blah... Your doing good.
  19. Yes sir. Your welcome. Sorry i couldnt get the pictures to post. Were you able to pull the cover through the floor pan ?
  20. Isnt there a square cut out in the floor mat around the shifter. ?
  21. Yes pull the top cover. Isnt there a removable floor pan under the floor mat ?
  22. If Mack cant help, a skilled radiator shop should have all the lines and fittings to build what you need. Just drive it there for them to measure, and figure the angles..
