  1. looking at the pictures , i had 864 also
  2. (1) is this the new valve assy you had put in ? (2) did you try with trailer lines disconnected ? (3) by chance red/blue lines not crossed = had to ask ,
  3. you haven't separated the trailer from the tractor YET !!! take the red/ blue lines OFF the trailer and cap them. using a plugged glad hand or holder mounted on the pogo stick. THEN PUSH IN THE RED BUTTON TO SEE IF YELLOW LINE LEAKS . a faulty trailer valve /// brake can will return air to THE TRACTOR !!!!!
  4. If I am thinking right ! ( really after two yukon jacks );; esi is for Extended Service Intervals . ==2 spin on oil filters :: the ESI + is 3 spin on filters ??? . don't recall where the main feed line to older large filter went to engine block ?/
  5. unfortunately, a smart move, lifelong in this state;; never saw it so bad. unfortunate ct not alone in horrible driving conditions. on a private note send a text where in Cheshire if I may ask??
  6. BIG question is :::: mounted on a stand so we can ALL hear it come to life for the first time ???? what a feeling !! we will leave it at that!! LOL
  7. piece with green tape is the pressure regulator which should bolt to block. flip the piece over will match the holes +- of block. 4 bolt holes line up . gasket in hand goes with it
  8. there is what appears to be an early yr R model with wrecker body in CT on rte 10 cheshire . reason I say early since it has the one piece hood : not having the two lower fender additions , purpose of mentioning due to right front fender had a mishap. reminds me of the DM. since yours will be done soon ; maybe you want more fiberglass fun. If i could figure out this picture taking ;I would.
  9. so the marks are a little off -- aren't we all . good to hear some positive forward advances. soon be ready for paint and parade.
  10. air drops to 80 after pushing in red button then builds to normal indicates trailer loosing air . air loss would be truck filling trailer air tanks ;; normally. next option would be valve cluster on truck faulty -BUT the air leak would be constant, recommendation would be as earlier stated === remove red/blue lines from trailer; cap off the hoses on truck - number of ways, hook to a hose tender / connect to another glad hand with plugged off fitting . DO NOT hook red to blue . with hoses dead headed; push in the red knob . no leak - the trailer has the issue.
  11. i wasn't to successful getting the trailer lines disconnected and dead headed to eliminate trailer i guess. no reply as to one trailer involved or this unit does drop/swap.
  12. if you value the truck DON'T drive it here this weekend especially. major concern also is = vehicle smashes in to you it's either stolen/ unregistered/ no insurance. more news lately show vehicle crashes and driver runs away. had one recently where passenger died ; driver ran away - car was stolen.
  13. thanks for the moxie info; see it in stores . wasn't aware of "rarity" , might acquire a bottle ; see how it mixes with Yukon Jack.
  14. you don't want to be in Connecticut ANY TIME . took an hr to go 25 minute ride today , the state was out pot hole patching I-84 at 2 pm. 5 trucks with 1= that's one clown with a shovel , this is every day. and they laugh at the horn blowing drivers. THIS WEEKEND in ct === sorry
  15. Gowens=Knight still there??? haven't been there in many years. between business for Mack or being member of Oxford FD , lot of time spent there.
  16. air is constant leak out the exhaust yellow line when you push in the red button to release trailer brakes ;; correct??? do you pull same trailer or others?? same we continue ; other trailers being hooked to , does exhaust still leak,?? attempt here is to verify the truck has the issue
  17. yellow lines are the exhaust ports I believe, 2015 way new for me to be certain.
  18. did you try and dead head the lines to trailer then push the buttons in ?? might help eliminate whether issue is with truck or back feed from trailer. where in CT is this truck located??
  19. long as the garage door is darn high to bring inside; or the bay is long enough when boom is lowered.
  20. nice picture = thanks -- another close by show I missed. didn't make the Watts show either. old age sucks
  21. they had a LM I would have liked to put my hands on
  22. keep in mind , there is a BIG difference between "doubting myself VS questioning myself.. doubt means __ don't think I can !!!! questioning ones self means to double check a persons work (which is acceptable !!!! after this build a positive is __you can NEVER say "I never build one before"
  23. always focus on the mechanics ;;; BUT also focus on safety surroundings . looking as if carpet material would be great for nap time while pretending to be working under unit!! just sayin
