    The E7 wasn't hampered with as much pollution crap like the M-7. The e-6 and E-7 was about as efficient as you could get in a small block.

    Mack should have went with a wider cab from the Gitgo on the R series then the U and Dm offset wouldn't have been needed. They should have learned from the small B cab. Something half way between the R and the F model would have sufficed. Six - nine inches was all that was needed

    The automotive filter manufactures and HVAC filter manufacturers should be able to produce M-95's as a sideline without to much difficulty.

    I am not sure the American industry could get up to speed as they did in WW2 for a new all out conflict.

    Mack was strong in Ct back then. Not as much now. Those early DM 600's sure had cramped wheel bases. Although on the Gateway Terminal website I did see a new Mack Granite #68 I believe. I think Gateway has new ownership. May bee some renewed interest in Mack.
