  1. I see. I'm right close to there and never managed to see them, also funny the guy that delivers stuff at my shop never mentioned them . Couple of nice trucks there. TY
  2. I'm kinda curious the affiliation between Dempsey and those trucks.
  3. (lol) I saw this truck first in a different post. I was think'n the old girl still looks pretty good myself.
  4. Never. I haven't even seen a running 555 since back in the early '80s.
  5. IDK what it is. I'm impressed by the size of it though. The housing too. That whole truck has lots of goodies on it. Almost 70 years later, guys still realize that....pretty cool it's around and running.
  6. That is the White double reduction BMF model 😉 Seriously, that one picture has a marking almost looks like a Spicer diamond. Maybe it was some exclusive axle for Diamond T (White) I think they had other components with that arrangement with suppliers in the past. That must have been quite the truck back when it was made.
  7. You don't mean Oldsmobiles by any chance .
  8. They conveniently forgot all about when they teamed up with White that time to make the "giesel" a 555 converted to run on gas (lol)
  9. It was a movie. I've heard the term over time used when trying to decide something that was tough to make a decision about. I remember watching some of it cause that chick on there was pretty hot. ( this was pre Ice Road Truckers and Highway Through Hell ) IDK if I personally would cut up that V for the Diamond T. Brocky had a good idea.
  10. True. nothing says "I work hard for what I'm responsible for" like having spare time to dress up like madonna and parade around.
  11. I was think'n more like the Diamond T or the V ....... I'd have a hard time deciding between the two of them. They both look to have potential from what I see in the pictures.
  12. This is a little like that movie Sophie's Choice. I'm with Brocky.
  13. Two fruits chest feeding. How the #uck is this not child abuse ? Get'n their jollys at the expence of the helpless.
  14. Busy busy. Lots going on here. Hopefully it'll calm down a little as spring gets closer.
  15. IDK this wacko doesn't sound like a drunk Sylvester The Cat. She does share the same look as the other old @*nt
  16. Interesting......all this time I never knew nancy pillowsy had a sister
  17. Bull in the china shop (lol) reminds me of an old story about the young bull and the old bull. They're stand'n there overlooking the field with all the cows and the young bull says " let's run down there and #@ck a couple of those cows " the old bull's responce........ " let's walk down n #@ck'm all " It'll be a mirical if there's not murders over all this.
  18. Wow, that one looks pretty good still
  19. There were 2 up here. One is either still at the scrapyard it went to or cut up. The other one is on display at a towing company. It's not really operable , but it has a home made wrecker on it.
  20. It's my understanding those twin steers were made exclusively for that guy.
  21. Yes. I'm actually talking to the owner now
  22. One of those Autocars is here by me. One got scrapped not too long ago.
  23. They were ok if you pulled a dry van on blacktop or something like that. They were from back in the time before air ride was the norm. So I'd have to agree with you.
  24. Scary part is there's people who listen to and believe this crackpot.....who married her brother. The epitome of how imigration is supposed to work.
  25. I believe that's what's Mack called "taper leaf" . Then depending where you live, some guys called them underslung. That looks like a pretty nice R Model. That suspension might not be the most desireable , but I'm not sure I'd pass on it because of it.
