  1. That truck kinda looks like what an H Model may have evolved into.
  2. Why is that hole after the P ? Undersized back then used to be stamped P and the number of thousands it was different. Might need to get a micrometer and check.
  3. Hard to figure out what's going on in that video.

    hey vlad

Happy birthday Vlad. More proof all the cool guys are born in April 😎
  5. Chinese ??? you'll probably hungry again by now. Look on the bright side, at least the shafts and all were easy to get apart and only required the cuss'n
  6. I can't believe how some of that stuff held up being outside. Couple of those trucks look pretty good.
  7. Have to check the hours on it too, besides the mileage.if it's over 20000 hours, that's not ideal.
  8. That Hartlage and the Mack for that matter look almost photoshopped in the pictures. No way either one sat outside for years.
  9. That's a 13 speed Fuller in that '01.
  10. That truck is not the typical 2001. Looks to be in fantastic shape and was loaded up when it was built too. Never know, it might sell for way less if you try. Not many lending institutions are in a hurry to finance a 25 year old truck, and some carriers won't use equipment that old. In my opinion, based on the pictures, and having owned one around that vintage..... there's lots of life left in that truck.
  11. See that???? they'll finance ya and everytthing. few weeks in class and 90K + per year.
  12. Wonder what he'd have said about guys with their pants down around their thighs.
  13. That '70 probably still has the air chamber for each side. I only had 3 over the years. Two aluminum, one steel, I loved them.
  14. Used to have a place here that would do tiny bends on sheets of 6061T6 to overlay the radius and meet in the middle of the floor. Added some weight, but avoided that from happening. They were quite the piece in their era, and it's still not too difficult to see several still in service. Late '80s I remember bringing used dump bodies back from Connecticut (Fruehaufs) . They were all numbered with QX numbers and around 18 feet long. I don't think the body, hoist and subframe weighed 5000 pounds.
  15. Seriously. I have no idea what was mismatched in that one. The release yoke was where it belonged and all and there was almost an inch behind the bearing (without a brake. I slid the transmission back and put an entire second brake in it. Never bothered it in the least.
  16. Happy birthday Other Dog
  17. I once put 2 clutch brakes in a Mack with a 12 speed and a new clutch the guy brought with the truck. There was that much space between the bearing and the front of the transmission....and it worked (lol) Jojo, you sure you're not thinking of one of those clear acrylic shafts between two trannys ?
  18. 🤔Thanks for putting that vision in my head of you driving a yacht Paul. Dressed up in all the proper attire for sailing.... some yacht rock playing in the background......
  19. Those are steel wheels painted nice. Those wheels for widebase tires can come in several offsets (just like aluminum) They've fallen out of popularity over the last 20 years or so because most are aluminum (at least here in The USA) One thing's for sure, they look good on that MH.
  20. That kind of thing can scare a young man, and he doesn't realize what he's miss'n.......or so I've heard
  21. I'm sure you know this, but make sure all that release lever adjustment stuff is freed up while it's out in the open, and the shafts and bushings are in good shape.
  22. now now.... none of that.
