  1. That's great to see you using a truck like its ment to be. Alot of trucks like yours would never be used in fear of getting a scratch
  2. I've been thinking of doing something similar to maddog and making a wooden form of the fender. But I was going to try and make a stainless fender extension type thing. I'd like to extend them about 3" so they extend below my steps. I'm not a big fan on the flap wrapping around the outside of the fender.
  3. And when dealers cared about customers. My wife got me a dealer poster for one of the old tractors we got.
  4. I read somewhere it really dosent make much diffrence what types of oils used in old equipment. Today's oils have much better characteristics of oils when this stuff was designed.
  5. My grandfather was a milk man for his grandfathers dairy and he has a red beard when he grows one.... But that dosent explain my red hair.
  6. Neat idea for the truck hood on the trike.
  7. Ok. I get it now. If he would switch trans out to a direct drive and he has a tri, or quad with a double or single over drive. He would be way slow.
  8. My phone is a lot smarter then I am. My 9 year shows me what to do sometimes.
  9. What makes the need for rear change? Direct would still be a 1:1 ratio.

That's one thing nice about my Allison. It has a spin on external filter.

I don't want to buy. Just borrow them. I want to show all the tough diesel pickup guys around what my 496 gas job single wheel pickup will do. Last summer they all stopped and stared when I pulled into our tractor show with 3 tractors loaded.

We have a bunch of 48' trls set up for the NY thruway as doubles. We are trying to find some dollies so I can try it with 2. I'm thinking it would make a great video. Lol

I never did anything with doubles, but is there any tongue weight on a dolly when a trailer is hooked to it? The weight wouldn't be to bad to pull if you could get traction. But stopping and a cross wind would be a different story.
  15. I think It makes it look mean with them on backwards like that.
