  1. Also... Did I meet you at the maggio truck show last year??? I was there with my RS700L.
  2. That's the same style superliner kit that is now on my RS700l.. don't change the front mounts.no need too... Did you have the arched bar bolted to the frame brackets/ solid mount at the rear of cab??? If so I can walk you through how I did my..? Swap.
  3. give a man a fish and he will eat for a day, teach him to fish he will eat forever. give a man a dollar and he will spend it. teach him how to make a dollar and he will earn thousands. steal from me once shame on you. steal from me twice, pay the price see the pattern Obozo has given out so much money to people that did nothing that I suspect that few will try to work another day in their life. and thats how he will attempt to win the next election. Fags, queens, blacks, mexicans, make up a huge portion of the population. now add in the idiot white folks and you have almost 50% of the nation sucking on his Tits just to servive. Wish I could move to an island and live life out like out founding fathers had wanted us to..
  4. was on the west coast all last week think I could count the total numbers of Macks that I saw on one hand... Sad
  5. I thought the RD was first to go then the RBs and DMs. there was a green one running around here but I lost track of it.
  6. the cabs are basicly the same from the firewall to back of cab. the diffrence is in the cowl. A superliner hood has straight flat sides where the R model hood has slanted sides and a diffrent body line. Trent
  7. Does the same for me...just turn the volume down.
  8. sounds like air in the system or the flow is to much for the filter. You can run without it. they did it for years untill someone thouht it needed a filter.. i run mine without a filter
  9. im working on 7 years and just can stand it anymore. I had the truck out tonight for a run and was thinking I cant wait for more gears and top speed. And now that IL interstates are 65MPH I get passed like im standing still. At 55MPH it would be a 1 1/2 day tripto get to the mack show. It should only be a 3/4 day trip if your not pushing it hard.
  10. I would say 20 is a little to low at full load. I had a simmalr problem with a mechanical engine. 16 psi Max under load.was smoking all the time. I Found that My turbo housing was melting away and the exhaust was bypassing the blades of the impeller. I put a new/used turbo on and she now puts down 27PSI. and only smokes if there is no boost. I say search for an boost issue or a leak in the intake system.
  11. If I get this 12 speed in this year I will hopefully be there in 2013. I just cant make that drive at 55mph. I can run flat foot at 62 but I just dont like that. Trent
  12. just a thought but the block temp can be higher or lower than the water temp. the water is used to cool the engine and carry it away. Try aiming the temp gun at the radiator inlet and see what temp that is at. then shoot the radiator exit. I would suspect the head will always be hotter than the water is. Whats your oil temp? its normaly 10 deg less or the same as the water temp. these new engines are designed to use both the oil and water to help keep things cool and under control.
  13. seen a few. mostly on the early R chassis with a 237 or 285. have to relocate the batt boxes. and if I recall move the fuel tanks forward
  14. Think I made a deal on one for $2700. Guy had it rebuilt 6 years ago at a cost of $3600 and just has it sitting on the floor as a spare. he had 2 trucks with a 12 speeds. All its missing is the stick shift. I will be out to pick it up in July and the only think to inspect will be to see if it has the rear splined countershaft for a Mack PTO. we will see... Trent
  15. here ya go Vinny http://www.flickr.co...oux/4473291946/ http://www.flickr.co...oux/4518363842/ http://www.google.co...29,r:2,s:0,i:71
  16. thats more my ballpark range as its just a hobby truck. I see a bunch of take outs for around $2500. anything that involved labor and parts is $2800-$3500 depending what was done to it. Right now Im just price shopping around the net as I have no hurry. This will be my summer project. Made a few offers on one for 2k so will see in anyone bites. Knowing my luck I would buy one for 3k and 2 weeks later there will be one up for sale for $1500. I contacted Phil at Global truck traders and he shot me a good price one... May have to sweet talk the girl friend into takeing some pics to help sweaten the deal !!! LOL Trent
  17. Need that overdrive to get to these truck shows faster! looking for a used 12 speed with topcover and splined lower counter shaft so I can bolt in my rear mount Mack PTO. I saw them listed on Ebay, Rebuilt with new bearings, clutch pack etc... for $3250 with an exchange. littly pricey so looking for options. Thanks Trent
  18. my biggest complaint is the electronic 350s just felt slow. they ride nice and can get in and out of tight spots but they just felt like they had no power when compaired to a mechanical. They lasted forever some over a million miles. I dont recall any problems like the mid 200X CH macks had. to me they are mostly fleet spec trucks but they did the job well and all day long.
  19. was the U model ever Exported to places such as australia or other RHD countries? Thought that would be a little rare but ???
  20. I know that rig!!! looks good too!
  21. My girl just cought me reading this thread......................Thanks guys
