    We just call it horrible freight But in all so honesty there c clamps, grinding discs, flap wheels, moving dollies, moving blankets are good They are also good for limited or occasional use tools The silver tarps are better than the blue ones Price check almost everything I buy on the internet

    Now to add to the confusion The hood on my 1975 RS685LT and my 1985 RS688LST both measure 54.25" and the distance from the grill to back if can on both trucks is 105" The 1975 hood is a flat top The 1985 hood has the raised center The 1985 RS688LST has the air to air after cooler mounted in front of the radiator The 1975 was built in Hayward The 1975 was built in Allentown

    When you go from a 300-330 hp engine to a 550 hp engine with double the displacement is becomes a real problem to make it work and fit Why the desire for all the horsepower?

    Sounds like garrison power assist steering Clean the grease off of the control valve, drag link, you may find a part number If you pm me your email address I can send you the manuals that I have Does it turn to the right with power assist? Depending on where you are located you may be able to get it to work by changing the fluid Good news is that garrison is still in business and located in Southern California Bad news is that the valves quite often are not rebuildable due to wear.

    There should be a tag on the passenger side of the engine. It is located on the block behind the injector pump and under the turbo Have some rags and engine cleaner handy because it could be covered by a bunch of dirt and oil

    Pull the engine cover off and look for the turbo. When you have the cover off look at the valve covers, the jake brake has a 1" spacer between the head and valve cover. There should be an electrical connection to the passenger side of each spacer.

    I would like a real measurement of an R700 hood. The pictures I have found are confusing, some make look like the difference is only 4", some look like 6" and some look really long unless there are different length hoods?

    Since the swift driver is parking on the street side of the sidewalk he probably is technically parking on the public right of way, the street. It sucks that you have to build a building as a result of his stupidity

    Some of the technology is helpful but there is a lot that is just plain distracting. The blind spot radar that illuminates a light in the mirror is helpful than The passenger side cameras because the cameras suck at night and in the rain The backup cameras are helpful but the rear beepers are just plain annoying

    I am looking for a sleeper for my 1985 RS688LST, my goal is a early 80's style 60" standup with a passenger side exhaust cut out I would prefer to find one in California, Nevada or Arizona to reduce shipping costs but I am open to all Anyone have one sitting out back or know where one is hiding?
