  2. On mine the range selector is the valve on the front of the stick and I just need a screw on top piece. Was it a simple ball like on the 5 speed?

  7. The shifter on my 5 speed trans is real sloppy. I have looked in the manuals but can't seem to find and information on the actual shift tower. Is there a bushing that wears out? What should I check when I remove the shift tower?
  8. Depends How worn is your existing fifth wheel? The last kit I received replaced everything except the actual top plate. The cost of the kit was about 40% of the replacement. Are your rizers, or sliders in good shape?
  9. Remember when the dimmer switch was on the floor on every vehicle, now they hide the dam switch
  10. You are not kidding about the front drums. I priced some front stud pilot drums and they were about 5 bills, ended up finding a set of nice used ones
  11. In the city the only reason to turn on the headlights is so that the other drivers can see the vehicle coming In CA the government is more worried about what is coming out of the tailpipe to check the lights So many people drive with bright lights that driving at night is not as fun The best one is the people that have one headlight adjusted to blind you
  12. The issue with CNG is fueling stations, even in the LA basin they are not that prevalent. One of my clients bought a CNG fleet only to find that it was costing them time, miles and money to fuel them. So there answer was to build a CNG accumulation, compression and fueling station at there facility and in the process they lost one truck parking space.
  13. Too bad it's a passenger side door I would've been all over it if it was drivers side
  14. Any idea how much weight ups was hauling with 3.70? Were they on std. height 20/22.5's? What engine and trans combo where they using?
  15. Now if my wife would just wear the ribbon in the kitchen I would help her all the time
  16. It was the bottom of the sleeve. It caught fire when she reached for something on the back burner. Looked much worse than it really was. I use old FR welding shirts when working on vehicles
  17. Those fancy white chefs shirts are not flame retardant, at least not the ones at my daughters high school, she lit her sleeve on fire at a parents night
  18. This summer I was visiting my baby sister, she's 50 now does that mean I am old?, and she was cooking with a instant pot. I mentioned it to my wife and she said she was too busy to learn how to use one so I bought myself one. This was teriyaki chicken last week Tonight is pulled pork
  19. Since both kids are now away in college I have decided to cook a little, the food I like So I needed an apron. Instead of using one of my wife's I went to the shop and pulled a new apron out
