  1. Good- I always thought.....20" tube type, equals 22.5 tubeless, 22" tube type= 24.5 tubeless, 24" tube type-you are out of luck By the way your Sumitomo's must have been someones old stock as they don't list 11R-24 on web site.
  2. Nice-and where are those made? I have Bridgestones on my front axle -I thought they still made an 11:00R 24? Joseph's Equip has been advertising that they have a bunch of 12R 24 Goodyears. Price of course is not published.
  3. I'm told some of the Chinese tube types are not exactly "round"😎
  4. Thx Chuck-and now I know where these are going judging by the colors!
  5. By the way- dawned on me that I did not post pix of these monsters- They were there in July. WS chassis and the booms are 120' Can't figure out the logic of a a folding 120' stick vs a telescopic???? Can you imagine the price tag on these ?
  6. Every so often I drive through a nearby Altech installation facility. In prior years it was usually full of class 4-7 -typical utility bucket trucks. The class 4-5's were usually F-450-550-like 98%. Big trucks , Internationals and F'liners but lately more and more Paccars and Western Stars- and mostly tandems. Within the past few months looks like most of their installs on the big trucks are monster Effer folding booms. Today for first time I saw an F-750- used to be plenty in the Blue /diamond days but this was first Avon Lake truck I've seen there. But check out this Granite! And the WS. First Mack I've seen their in a long time
  7. Closed today at 40.78
  8. KSC, Just out of curiosity I was on the Ford corporate web site the other day seeing seeing what they were still pushing for sedans-given Hackett's position that cars are dead in the US. (Apparently the Koreans, Toyota, Honda etc have not discovered they are losing their ass building cars). In any case, thinking of all the press we see from the Turks about their new dealers in Europe, just for kicks I went to some of the Ford euro country web sites and clicked on "commercial", and guess what...No F-Max. 4142 etc. This clearly says to me that Ford Otosan is a "mirage" as far as Ford is concerned. The Turks may have the name, but they are on their own and if Ford does not even show the big Fords on country websites where Otosan is making big press announcements about their dealers, they are completely on their own and Dearborn could care less.
  9. https://www.reuters.com/article/us-ford-motor-commercial-vehicles-insigh/fords-incoming-ceo-wants-the-u-s-automaker-to-run-like-a-deere-idUSKBN25Z2JH Well they at least mention class 7.
  10. For sure that log truck Bullhead posted looks like it has same "DNA"
  11. No problem with it being an Autocar. My point this had to be a very expensive custom chassis- Have you ever seen an A-car configured like this? If wheelbase was the issue, why not the Xpeditor cab-still sold by "Autocar". So agreed-turning radius had to be great! Just don't wipe anything out with that 5 or 6' of nose extending beyond the front axle! Like I said, this had to be a very expensive truck. And 'Dave, you are fire professional- are not small department equipment purchases often done by a "truck committee"?
  12. Why??????? think of what that cost vs any other chassis- sounds/looks like a truck designed by committee😎
  13. I think that high cab version came out when they started offering 8v-71's as an option.
  14. Same truck-I think they eliminated the wrap around windshield with 64 model yr.
  15. Amen- I was going to add-..."three S's and a B"...for Bathtub.
  16. Brief experience in a Canary😎-that is Ryder rental NT-950, NH-250 , RT-910, Hendrickson extended leaf suspension. I thought it was a great driving truck-but for sure with those butterfly hoods and that doghouse, not something you wanted to work on.
  17. Whoever thought buying a truck would be better than investing in a CD😎
  18. Paul another Pix please-how many miles on it.
  19. Hmnn-might pass as a safety check in Turkey-but not even close here. Nice to see the "One Ford" concept in place here -that mirror control looks just like the one in my car!
  20. My bet is this truck will be going back to work. so for 120 g, what would you rather have-this Superliner or a 2020 collection of headaches-for another 50 g more?
  21. Nice looking B-75 in any case! Only experience I ever had was I had rented a good size Deutz powered boom lift to stain my house. I'm up in the air and all of a sudden rpms change and it starts smoking like crazy. I get down real quick and it wont shut off. I pulled the air intake hose off the air cleaner and jammed a rag in it. Rental outfit told me it had a cracked ring and was pulling oil.
  22. Very nice. I was just on You Tube and some Ford salesman did a survey of Ford service techs as to which engine they would pick if they were buying a 150. Hands down winner was the 5.0. This same guy did this same "survey" a year or two ago and that time 5.0 was also the winner. I think safe to say consistent reason was the simplicity of the 5.0 (Not that it's a '68 390!) vs the Ecoboosts. And none of them knocked Ecoboost-just that 5.0 got their vote on the fact no turbo in the picture.
  23. Ex farm pick up tank?
  24. That has to be a loaded Sasquatch. I think they start around 31 or 32 in States. Pix of 150?..Power?
