  1. Only tilt-master's I've seen were gas and most were 401's. Here's another one. The diesel's were non tilting and had swing out fenders.
  2. Joe, Same truck. Belongs to a good friend of mine. Here it is as you remember. Looks a little different now.
  3. Here's a heavy hauler. Some of you may have seen it before.
  4. Ken-tool makes a tool called the "blue cobra". It isn't cheap by any means but that cute petite blond in high heels and mini skirt, at the last truck show I attended, was flipping tires like no body's business. Yes, I know they were new tires on new rims but she sure made it look a lot easier that what I'm used too. You can check it out on youtube searching "Blue cobra".
  5. There are a couple of Bull Dog emblems on ebay $35. Thought someone might want them.
  6. Joemac, I would recommend that you go to oldihc.org and ask the question. They have a section of the forum devoted to the D-series with lots of information. I'm sure they can answer your question. You might also go to binderbooks.com and get a D-series service manual.
  7. Things can get a little wicked down here. 80 degrees and 15 ft. long at a shopping center. Glad I'm going home next week.
  8. Beautiful truck. I noticed the mixture of hubs on the tandems which makes me wonder if it had a pusher rather than a tag. I have a truck with a pusher which has the Bud's on the drive and Dayton's on the pusher. Just wondering.
  9. I continue to be amazed at the skills, craftsmanship, ability, and patience that some people have. Awesome job!!!
  10. Just turned on the air conditioner. 79 and sunny today.
  11. Fred, Taking the F350. Hope I don't have to work on it.
  12. slpwlker, I'll be in St. Pete. Let me know if you get over that way and I'll buy you a cup of coffee or give you a shot of "apple pie".
  13. I'll think about you guys. I'm pulling out tomorrow morning for two and a half months in south Florida.
  14. JTF, Congratulations on getting the truck. I must have missed a few pages. It's hard to keep up when there's so many pages to read especially if you don't read them every day. Dan
  15. That truck is probably all tied up in the PO's estate and there's probably 50 people fighting and won't settle and the truck will probably rot down.
  16. Bob, That chainsaw would fit in well with your mowing business. Dan
  17. Odog, That's awesome! LMFAO Dan
  18. I could have bought one about 4 years ago for $1,500. It was a long wheel base tandem and I was supposed to go look at it. It was 10 hours round trip and I just couldn't bring myself to drive that far. I sure wish I had made the trip. Don't know what ever happened to the truck.
  19. Beatngu, S/P switches are easy to hook up to batteries. You need to 12V batteries, doesn't matter where you locate them. I assume you have a negative ground system. Positive cable from battery #1 goes to starter. Negative cable from #1 goes to negative on S/P switch. Positive cable on battery #2 goes to positive on S/P switch. Negative cable on #2 goes to the starter.
  20. DCR, You got a typical dealership response. Sell you something you don't need. I agree with Maddog13407 and I think I would find another source for my parts.
  21. I think if my wife told me she was pregnant I'd just go out and shoot myself. Congratulations or condolences.
  22. This one was on Ebay a while back. Wish now that I should have tried to buy it. It's really unusual.
  23. Fred, Tater Salad will do. I planned to be at Winchester this fall but things fell apart at the last minute. I'm planning on several shows next year so I'm sure I'll run into you. Have you finished your truck? Dan
  24. Again, thanks for the comments. Eastcoastdiesel, be happy to show you the truck. If you get up this way, let me know and I'll put you in the drivers seat and you can take it for a spin. By the way, a late happy birthday. Dan
