  1. Hatcity, Thanks for taking up the slack for odog. He must still be on the couch. Those pictures will definitely get you motivated. Paul, What did you do, drive over to the Hooters in winfall? Ha! I think I've seen her dance before.
  2. WTF? No pictures. What did you do all week? Lay around on the couch knocking back a few snorts? You could have at least driven over to Winfall one evening.
  3. I knew there was a reason for stop lights.
  4. Dave, Great picture. Keep them coming. Thanks, Dan
  5. Dave, Thanks for the pictures. Some really nice trucks there. Have you seen any really neat IH's? By the way, I watched you pull into the show grounds on the ATHS live feed. Pretty neat. Dan PS You can email the IH's if you don't want to post them. Don't want the dog's after me. Ha!
  6. Wow! I just watched Dave pull into the show grounds with the big Diamond T at Salem on the ATHS live feed. Pretty neat!! Wish I was there.
  7. Mike, What is the silver truck sitting behind the Mack in the picture with little man standing in the fender? Is that a "W" series IH? Thanks, Dan
  8. The paint job was fantastic. You had to be there to appreciate it. From the picture all the black on the engine a chassis looks to be pure but when you get close you can see the red mixed in. It looks similar to metal flake but not in the traditional sense. I don't know how to describe it. All of the air lines and wiring had the chrome wire loom. Did you notice no door handles, power windows, and power tilt hood ?
  9. Larry, You're correct. It has a Camel back suspension.
  10. Saw this one today at MATS. I think this was the first time it's been shown.
  11. Joe, This is the one you were talking about.
  12. I saw this neat Jeep at an ATCA truck show in Fla. last year. This is a real nice truck.
  13. AutoCar heavy hauler. Anybody want one? On Gov Deals plus some Mack's.
  14. Anybody want one? Really wild looking one. All aluminum cab and really unusual. It's on Gov Deals.
  15. Hey Bigdog, I don't have a Mack but if the vent windows are that rare and in demand and you have a really nice set, have you considered getting them reproduced? You would probably do a lot of people a big favor and make some bucks while you're at it. Just a thought.
  16. Don't have first hand knowledge of them because I don't own one and probably never will. I will make a few observations for the heck of it. Stopped by the Ford dealer the other day to pick up a switch for my Ford truck and there was a whole bunch of them there to be repaired. Local telephone company has six of them and a good friend who works for them said that none of the six have all been on the road at the same time. Putting new engines in two right now for melted pistons. My supervisor went thru a two week course on the engine put on by a Ford rep. and his recommendation is to trade it before it goes out of warranty or have really, really, deep pockets when you go have it repaired. Just my two cents worth.
  17. There is some really good stuff there that needs to be saved and preserved. Hope somebody can save it.
  18. Are my eyes deceiving me or is that a double dog radiator cap?
  19. Paul, Neat pictures. Thanks for posting them. I wonder if any of the CH's or 30MT's survived?
  20. IMHO that's a bargain for that trailer. I'd be hooking up to it right now if it were closer.
  21. I use "Fresh Cab" from Tractor Supply. It's about $15 for a 4 pouch box. I throw one to two in each cab and haven't seen any evidence of mice in the trucks. I've been using it for a couple of years. I also put out a lot of Decon around the building and they seem to like it.
  22. Who is the expert on the forum for the MT654cr transmission? We just got an M939 in the shop from a volunteer fire dept. with a transmission leak. It is leaking in the rear between the main case and the spacer(?) that connects the rear plate to the transmission. We are wondering if we can repair it without pulling the transmission? We don't have a parts diagram or service manual for the transmission. This will be a first for us and the students. Any help would be appreciated. Thanks, Dan
