  1. If the mileage is original its worth it
  2. The cab. She aint Pedigree. I have 2 Macks like that.
  3. I had an 81 that is extremely clean. Go to our website to see pics. Sold it to a gentlemen near Allentown, Pa who done a nice job with it. www.caboverkings.com That is a VERY nice F model you have. You can be proud
  4. Hopefully it didn't get bought to be canabilized
  5. I think that in 1978 they were rated "to the wheels"
  6. The medallion was, (as far a I know) only on the first 2 years of Cruiseliners. Also if you look the first Cruiseliners did not have front directional on the front cab corners. They had a 4 inch light mounted in the front down between the grill and headlight. I have a 81 "west coast" and an 82 and 83 "east coast" Cruiseliners. The 81 & 82 have the interior youre talking about on the bunk. The 83 has the level 3 interior. I always wondered why they didn't carry that design over to other trucks. Perhaps someone out there can shed some light on this subject for us
  7. I think there is room behind grill between ATAAC. I know on the Cruiseliner there is not room. Especially with air ride cab. If not try putting small condenser below the ATAAC?
  8. 1984? Are you sure? Also, is it a glider? An 83 should be an ATAAC.
  9. Try Jeff Remillard in Weare, N.H. He has several B models. Last count there were @ 7 B81s
  10. Over the years ive had 6 3406's. All of them dripped.
  11. They may leak but show me a 3406 anything that doesn't leak too
  12. Before you put a 3406 in it stay with a Cummins and go with a N14 mechanical. That kicks a 3406 a$$ any day and better millage. Nice find. Hats off to you for taking the time to hunt down the original owner. That's what this hobby is all about!!
  13. I can now join the ANTI VOLVO crowd. I was just informed that Volvo "has obsoleted" Cruiseliners from their data base. Meaning Mack cant look up anything by the VIN. Thanks AGAIN Volvo
  14. I have a B71 that I listed on here a while back. Would like to see it go to a good home
  15. LOL!!!!!!!!!! Intresting. Hope there wasn't any turns before they unhooked
  16. Hmm. I do have manifold leaks. Thanks for your input. This wintah were going to do some mayor rebuilding. Install my 18918B some 3.65 or 3.87 rears the Antrim turbo with the big spark plugs I bought. Guess I better do manifold work as well. I have a broken exhaust stud but its not leaking near it.
  17. Ok, you got me. Im clueless. But that's not suprising
  18. No charge air leaks. Exhaust leaks yes. Wouldn't charge air leaks lead to high EGT?
  19. Been running my EM9 kinda hard last few weeks. On my way down outa Maine last week I stopped for fuel, at an Irving which is all I pretty much use. Since then immedeitly after we lost @ 4-5 lbs of boost and the pryo doesn't heat up as much. Stop by the house to change fuel filters. Nothing changes. Truck runs fine but doesn't pull quite as good. What would cause the lose of boost? Still smokes the same. The weather up here is horrible with hot humid day & night. Any suggestions?
  20. That's just plain COOL
  21. Franklin, Pa. I lived in Cooperstown for ten months back in 1980. If I remember correctly Franklin was near by?
  22. I have and will continue to sell a nice truck for less money just to keep it from being scrapped or exported!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
  23. Friend of mine down in Willston, Fl had a CONOCO that he bought up near Auburn, NY. They are unique! Wish I could add that to our website
  24. Im old school. Yes it runs when im sleeping. Heat in the wintah and A.C. in the summah. Plus in my case I live on a dead end road and if 6 vechicles go past my house all night long theres something wrong. So trying to sleep in a truck stop just plain stinks for me unless I leave it running.
  25. That's just plain cool.
