    Load test each battery individually to see if you have one bad batt the old saying is one bad apple ruins the whole basket same with batts New starters are cheap no rebuilt any more the labor to put in $$$$$$$$$$$$.00 ........................Don't you have connections put a fleet # on it S-Bla-BLA-BLA.

    Our town went and bought Internationals -2 they have to keep a loner on hand they cant go week without breaking down the 2 chevys have flat beds on them know for lawn mowers .They did swap out on RT 95 rest area cause it quit on the way to YALE hospital

    APA mostly ran Scania in their fleet of R-400 & MB cab overs . There is few guys still race them down at the Diesel nationals in English town drag strip every September .

    SAAB Scania had a corporate office in Milford Conn. and a large parts distribution warehouse in Meriden/Wallingford . Kouguts bought 3 tri-axle new Westchester freight lines bought 25 tractors they all burned or crashed B.A.C. bought 4 cab chassis.

    They do adjust by twisting some times u have to shim with 1\4 washers

    Due to the triple counter shafts its a lot heavier!! all depends what it is used for Box- flat -dump -tank Eaton wont hold up to older Mack motors due the hi- torque Mack trans 1800-lbs verse Eaton 1250-1450 toque range and the right injection pump.

    Shoulder bolts & reamers for a tight fit and taper the ends to bad you cant go longer your fifth wheel should have e long holes for double frame.

    Forward hi beams pull it back trailer lights it should be spring loaded but it is a courtesy switch to flash other truckers.

    Here in Connecticut he bought just about every real estate office out and no employees all sub contractors work in the offices not bad for 6% on all transaction very few house under 200k.

    I was at TRI state several years ago looking at a tri axle mack and talking to service mngr told me about customer that bought 5 new K whoppers and all 5 where there for warranty work at the same time.

    Did you haul rock out of Stony creek pink granite to gate way this past summer for jetty project going on in New Haven harbor with the 28 ft rock trailers.O&G has trailers with no sides to haul concrete sections of road section back to recycle crusher .

    Nothing new with Mack back in the day in the 1950;s they did crane chassis LJ;s with double steer look at 2stacksuperdog flicker account it has SUZIO with the LJ some say it was the mech that did the fab or factory the company did build there cranes from scratch later Hallamore buying them out with Hartford crane Capital crane Kenebunk Zavata bro Lawance riggers Roger Sherman .Any body with anymore info would be be nice .

    PAI parts under 200.00 Mack price range 1200.00 to 1400.00 that's gouging find a distributor in your area the last one I bought was 600.00 E-6 kits 998.00 know 2000.00 + price VOLVO must just X 2 on every thing.

    Our town did that several years ago !!!!!!! Last two where Mack cab &chassis 10 wheeler Freight shaker picks up leaves it cant multitask on hills plowing &putting down sand salt @ the same time so its on light duty it was a waste of money.normally they spec some thing that Mack only has so they can justify the extra $.

    Here in Connecticut there been a large increase with ten wheeler s even though the state does the state bid for equipment and materials the towns been leaning towards Mack with some first time users some are buying complete units and some are buy cab and chassis 250k +. But when i pull in with my vintage fleet they always start small talk with a inspection of the trucks. Some towns are still using 70 s & 80 s .The only reacquiring problem is the double frames .

    Corporation tax is even worst I know a quite a few company's paid between 10k & 250k for pick up in NY and coming back to CONN.to deliver product.

    WAS the dealership bought out ! Conn dealership been bought several times called dealer in Mass for battery box 40.00 cheaper called a smaller dealer in Conn 45.00 they're just parts & service no sales people so I have a new job no pay but a good friend ship .

    Ive seen so many people over the years that didn't no about check valves a case of either and still wouldn't start!!! change valves start right up ,10.00$
