  1. Tozzi, I was but this was 4 miles from me and a price I couldn't resist. I figured I would clean it up and use it until something else bigger comes along. With the low miles, I should be able to make a few bucks on it when the time comes. I've always liked these and this is loaded with options. It will serve me well for a while. I just need to install a hitch on the back to pull my car trailer so i can haul two at a time.
  2. Hatcity. They were both beyond my price point. The MR is not what I was looking for and the SL is cool but again, not in my range. Ideally I need a 22-24' deck and wheel lift off the back. There was a CH on eBay last year I was digging for around $15k but no wheel lift. I found an old ad that's still up on it: http://twentywheels.com/view/12520-1992_mack_ch612.html
  3. Thanks. Ill use this until I find a Mack rollback. The DM that was in Long Island the seller never got in touch with me. Nice part is this is old enough I can take it to some of the shows. I have a year to get this and the General ready for Macungie! The wife can follow me out there in this while I drive the big rig.
  4. As many of you know I've been in the hunt for a rollback for some time. I was really searching for a medium duty flatbed rollback but I couldn't help myself. This was too good of a truck. Owner had some medical issues and put this out of duty a few years ago. He also has an 87 Ford F350 wrecker for sale. So here are the details: 1987 Chevy R30 Silverado - 454 injected, 4-speed manual Trans, power windows, power locks, AC, tilt wheel, cruise, etc. 17' aluminum Jerr-Dan bed, rear towbar, removable rails, 82k miles. It was a bit dirty and moldy but after I got it back to my shop I gave it a power wash and she came up nice. This week ill work on getting it running. The Dodge in the pictures is my 1994 with a No-Mar wrecker unit. 30 minutes after I picked up the rollback, I sold the Dodge. Good day today.
  5. Pictures, very important Welcome to the site!
  6. A buddy of mine just had fenders done for a 20's car he is building. The guy works with aluminum but I also thought he did steel as well. Guy is one of the last who can still make body panels from scratch. He is about an hour from Hershey. Ill get his info for you tomorrow.
  7. There is two carnival rides on nj CL. One is a small Ferris wheel, the other is something else. Cool just to set up in the backyard and let the kids play.
  8. Please post pics again. That truck is beautiful.
  9. If this is red I have seen pictures I think on Tow411. This thing is like new. Yes we need pictures here.
  10. I placed another call today. Still no callback. I don't know if its sold or not. Ill keep you guys informed.
  11. I always liked this thing
  12. This is why I have an account under my stage name. I don't need people to reach out to me I don't want to.
  13. Something about this doesn't sit well with me. Seems like a lot of stuff slapped onto this thing. I like the DM in LI better
  14. I already sent a message. The seller had no information. I hate when they put minimal effort.
  15. Wow thanks for the link. I just sent a message to them.
  16. Ken, I couldn't find the delete button last night on my computer or this morning on my iPad. As for gems, I just bought a 94 Dodge Ram 3500 wrecker and hopefully by the end of the week I will have an 87 Chevy flatbed rollback.
  17. This truck is sold. I couldn't see any place to delete the posting. Moderator feel free to delete this.
  18. OK not a Big Mack Truck but still a truck. I found a flatbed rollback I want to buy locally so that means a few of the "extra vehicles" have to go to fund it. 1978 Ford F150 Ranger - 107,000 Original Miles, Original Dealer Invoice, 351M, Automatic, 3.25 Gear Ratio, Power Steering, Power Brakes, Air Conditioning (Compressor kicks on but needs charge), Delay Wipers, Factory AM/FM - WORKS!, Sliding Rear Window, 2" Trailer Hitch with Brake Controls in cab. Interior in good shape. Seat was already redone. Runs well, drives nice. Body has some typical rust in the bed but worth repairing. I just did a tune up including cap, rotor, wires, plugs, fuel filter, air filter, PVC, rebuilt 2bbl carburetor, and replaced the battery. Fires right up, goes down the road well. I am looking to get $2,500 out of it which seems very reasonable for how nice it drives. Best thing about the truck is it never had the wrong hands on it. Everything it came with from the factory is still with it including all the stuff under the hood like the air cleaner fresh air hose and warm up tube off the manifold. SOLD SOLD SOLD!
  19. Very cool. I dig the R towing the B with the sleeper on the 5th wheel tow unit. I took pictures of it on the field.
  20. Yup that's the one. I took pics front and back. That rust tells a story. Never restore this thing. Keep it like this.
  21. Was that the dump with what year it was written in white on the front bumper and tail? I got two pics of that thing. Work site fresh. Love it.
