  1. Don't think he's worried too much about powertrain, as it's gunno be electric powered(r/c) anyway. I think he's just wanting some more overall detail information.
  2. Sounds like for $2000 they'll put the plugs back in the rocker shafts LOL!! Ain't that nice of'um?
  3. There is a fellow on a R/C modeler forum building a R model from scratch(flat plastic stock) and is needing underhood shots, anything to help get details done. Anyone have some decent wide angle shots with hood open to share here? I've googled and found some for sale ads with underhood shots, but they aren't the greatest shots. Thanks link to site http://www.mwmodeltrucking.com/forum/viewt...=a&start=36
  4. Ugh........................ Shouldn't that have Pete emblems on it??? Likely the driver would need the seat on the floor as to NOT be seen driving it LOL!!!!
  5. Sounds like a bargin. Always wanted one, though have no real need for it, IE: noise maker.
  6. Jim, a fellow that used to work with me young son did that video, that's the reason for me being it more then once. Great work on the chassis. I'm SO jealous!
  7. Well, I'd bet if you just made sure it had FUEL in it when you start it you'd be alot happier to begin with.
  8. Hmmm, I let my B go all winter hooked up and it's been fine all these years. Actually going on 6+yrs for the batteries/starter when I switched it to Neg ground and 12v start. Didn't put a disconnect switch on it either. In fact, I know the batteries are starting to fail as it takes some time for them to get above 12v when the alt kicks in. I pulled two off(since the one battery box was getting kinda weak anyway) and now it still starts easily with just 2 batteries. Guess I must not have too much of a drain on the system?
  9. .........that's the break you take to lick your lips while pronoucing it properly
  10. Ya, sad to hear about her and Ed McMahon. She did age gracefully, one of the lucky ones. Too bad they were forgotten so quickly............when the PERV died. Don't forget, Kmart is having a MJ tribute sale this week. All boys pants 1/2 off....get'm while you can.
  11. Scott is on this forum. Have to search his name, I think he goes by Sthoren here?
  12. Great work!! I can't WAIT to see it start to come together. It's going to be awesome! "no rust on anything"................ok, ok............just rub it in! LOL!!! I had to buy special welding wire to get two pieces of rust to stick together on my truck LMAO!!!!
  13. Sick, just sick. I won't even suggest what I want to do to them kids.
  14. Hey, as long as you don't have an ammo in the cab....can't be all too illegal. The only problem would be most any business that has the "NO" firearms notice stapled to every wall.
  15. Herb...I put dual pipes on mine just so I could hear it better on MY side of the truck LOL!!! Of course after a long trip...it does get a bit old. I do find myself leaning out the window to get a better tone of the bark. The engine noise inside the cab tends to drown out the exhaust. Glad the g/f isn't a chatty cathy and doesn't mind a few hours not talking! (Ya, I got it good LOL!)
  16. Ya, kinda hard to see, but I figured might be a gun rack in the back window?
  17. Are you referring to your temps, not your actual license? You should be able to add the extras(tank, doubles, hazmat) even after you take your actual road test, but before you get your printed license. As for driving jobs, likely won't get much help from anyone now. With no experience and with the HUGE pool of drivers finding an opening is slim. You'll have to start out with the low name companies and get your 1-2 yrs in so you can find a better place. Unless you know someone that will mentor you in a small company? Usually the insurance companies will restrict driving for newbies. You'll be stuck intrastate til your 21 anyhow.
  18. Just realized Saturday that Rt 30 just west of Canton states "60 mph", no split mph for trucks. Not sure how new the sign is? Don't pay that much attention LOL!!!!
  19. The endorsements are just a "simple" 20 questions each. Get 16 of 20 and you pass. I didn't even study for doubles/haz mat and only missed each by ONE question. Didn't need either, but doesn't cost extra to take test. Did get the tanker.
  20. Ya, don't use an expidited type carrier. A nice solid wood box and drop it off at Yellow or the like and you shouldn't pay much for it. I ship stuff like that out from work, but luckily we get discounted rates.
  21. Sounds great. Sure wish I could get some outside sound of my truck pulling thru the hills yesterday. Going down into southern Ohio and had a couple hills that I was down to 3rd lo and crawling! My set up isn't all that heavy, but heavy enough for 180 hp.
