  1. Barring any hidden rot, it looks to be in great shape. My Dad drove a '68 F785T daycab, formerly owned by Exxon. I wish the heck I knew the serial number.
  2. If one of them Winfall wimmin wears it the R model will be on the side, unless of course it's an older Winfall wommin. Then the Granite will be on the side. I like that the R models has spokes and agree 100% with the slogan.
  3. Probably the longest ride of your life. At least you kept your cool and handled it like a pro. There a many that would've panicked and made a bad situation even worse.
  4. Cab, hood, and doors have been replaced. The visor is original.
  5. Nothing. Now eat your Froot Loops and get to school. "The R model is history at the end of 2003" Could've let us down a little easier than that. After all, us Mack fans are sensitive and compassionate and can get a bit emotional in situations such as this. Don't these $#&*^% jackoffs understand that?!
  6. I would think there would be a market for a non-aero short hood in the states. Some are still willing to sacrifice a bit of fuel for a classic look, but a long hood is always part of the deal.
  7. If they would've held on to those MB-600's like I told them to we'd still be paying 10 cents for stamps, but noooooo.....
  8. You should be on The Weather Channel.
  9. You'll still be able to reach the channel knob on the cb from the driver's seat. Gotta love an R model.
  10. Next time, fill them with air instead of water.
  11. Great spot for the speaker. One of the R models at my previous job had strips of metal similar to yours, painted gray to match the headliner. I'm surprised there wasn't more reinforcement from the factory.
  12. Welcome. That's a good looking ride. One thing about working for PennDot, you'll never drive junk. Yes, be careful. Many of us have already gone off the deep end.
  13. The best kind too....Camelback.
  14. I saw a Superliner on the back of a stepdeck (hooked to a Volvo) last night at the Breezewood plaza of the PA Turnpike. It was parked in the direction to continue on I-70....which goes to Baltimore.....and has a port. Maybe I'm over thinking this.
  15. Absolutely. I find working truck with a few battle scars much more appealing. Just wash and show.
  16. It's a matter of perspective. I thought they were nice because they still had both doors.
  17. Very nice equipment. What are the specs of your truck?
  18. That's the last engine in the world that I would expect to see approved by CRAP..uh..CARB. I hope it sells.
  19. Not a good name in NY either. Prolly why they call themselves Anchor now.
  20. Welcome. Your B53 looks good already.
  21. OUCH! But I agree, they do look good.
  22. Her beloved Barry doesn't like to waste time putting issues to a vote, neither should our Barry.
  23. Sorry to hear of your loss. That is an amazing story.
  24. Happy Birthday!
  25. Thanks for checking in with the facts, Barry. Even Orson Welles is impressed, that's quite an accomplishment.
