  4. Skippy, Good!! But try Dave also as he might have pictures of your truck when it was working for the Paper Co and/or more history on it since the Mack museum is still closed.
  5. Try and contact ATCA member, Mack Man, and Double Clutch author Dave Zsido who lives in Rutland VT (???) He is the expert on Vermont trucking companies. Call Andrea at the ATCA office in Boyertown PA 610-367-2567 and she should be able to give you his contact info.
  6. It was always a toss up as to which was worse: Banning or Truckee!!! Been retired 10 years now, but the last 5 years driving I had to cross Banning regularly. Got inspected once but nothing serious..
  7. Bob, Truckee and most of the other Calif scales were A$$holes!!! Probably wanted to count your chains so they could give you a ticket if you were missing one!!
  8. Check with Jeff Lakaszcyck in FL : lakaszjl@aol.com He has about 100,000 pictures in his library and can possibly help you??
  9. OR at least put them on the SAME health and retirement programs that the rest of us are on!!!!!
  10. Used are fine.. Just look them over close for patches on the inside and cuts in the sidewall and tread..
  11. Chilly Willard, That picture was taken at the ATHS Virginia Carolina chapter show combined with the Brad Wike Southern Classics show at Brad Wike's farm in Lincolnton / Maiden NC.
  12. Bob, and others, You can view the whole trip 9 pages and about 500 pictures here: http://forums.justoldtrucks.com/84264/Down-Under-Trip?Keywords=Down Under trip
  13. I think Doug Fetterly of Harrisville NY was building the Battery Boxes?? He is probably in Florida right now for the ATCA Winter National show in Leesburg FL next weekend and the Daytona races the next weekend.
  14. Paul is right!! Just go to the parts desk or service counter, introduce yourself in a professional manner, and start asking questions. If your club is associated with ATHS or HCVC of AU it might help and you can get some contact info directly with Tony from them??
  15. Jeff Thanks.. I could not remember what it did to the trailer..
  16. Or trying to eat with Chop Sticks?????
  17. I remember the winter of 1958 in the Finger Lakes region of Central New York when we had blizzards on 4 consecutive Sundays in Jan/Feb.. The cumulative bit was it got worse each week.. First time in 50 years the Ithaca City Schools had been closed.. One farmer on a dead end dirt road had the Natl Guard fly him in some grain and he washed out his old Easy Washer with Lysol and churned butter instead of dumping milk..
  18. Dumb Butt question to add to the confusion!!! Do the trailer marker lights operate on the headlight switch or the switch for the outside 2 cab lights?????? I can NOT remember, My R model Days were in the early 70's!! An we had that blinker switch up on top of the left end of the dash. I remember it blinked high beams but cannot remember about the trailer lights???
  19. Go to Just Old Trucks and contact Eddy Lucast. He is a salesman for KBS coatings and has all kinds of frame paint which can even be brushed on..

  22. How can anyone reach any kind of decision when the National Media gives out only the twisted information which suits their liberal owners??????
  23. Track the money!!! Personally I believe that George Soros, The Clintons, and a few others are the money behind all the Dumbocratic rabble rousing. BUT they have enough shell corporations and off shore accounts between them and the party, that it is impossible to legally pin it on them...
  24. Skippy, Contact Bub Warren at Diamond T Rubber in Amarillo TX, 806-374-3056 or lilyellowbus37@gmail.com he also stocks rubber parts for Macks and other makes.
  25. Swishy, Basically you are right!!! BUT since the dumbocrats have harassed Trump from the day he was elected, including a vote for impeachment 10 days before his term was over. Why not return the "Courtesy"??? When Trump carried the whole nation, except for the big cities, There is something in our voting process that STINKS!!!
