  1. Hi all. I have a 2018 Superliner (strayan version) that is quite warm to drive around in, just like in the times before. It has a red dot on the roof. The fans run suggesting there is gas. The blower fan couldnt blow a house of cards over, and the filter is clean. It does blow hot air but feels like its trying to be cool on startup. Could my heater be stuck on? Setting the thermostat to hot makes it slightly warmer. Anyone had similar experiences? Will get a aircon guy onto it soon... Regards, Laurie.
  2. I went out and had a look but she was let go a bit too far for the cons to outweigh the pros. Thanks Hayseed, there what we thought too! The diffs were 5.23:1 Renault pmr2345's. 80km/ph at 1800rpm, top speed of 85km/h, unless I missed top, which I really looked hard for... I was in it but it didn't feel like it, put that down the the diffs.
  3. Thanks for the tips so far, I'll have more info soon, carrier part numbers etc, I have to drive 7 hours to see the truck so hope to head out there next week. Based on info above I found this parts supplier that may or may not help future searches: https://bisonparts.co.uk/product/renault-kerax-1997-2013-rear-wheel-hub-only-19146
  4. The problem was a couple for fuel leaks, one under the cab in a fitting in the main fuel line and another on the injector return. Fuel was draining back and it was taking about 5 attempts to start. Runs great now.
  5. G'day I'm checking out a 2003 Titan with hub reduction Renault diffs, problem is, I cant find anything on google, not a scrap of info, regarding these diffs. I can find a couple other similar trucks for sale with the same diffs but that's about it. At this stage I have no part numbers until I go see the unit. Has anyone got an opinion, any technical info, a manual or even a brochure on these? Cheers, Laurie.
  6. Hopefully not too much work! I build mountain bike trails for a living so I will use it to cart diggers and skid steers around in the bush.
  7. Cheers Larry. I hope to get it home next week or the week after, and will check those parts. Here's hopefully the first pic of many.
  8. G'day. I don't have any specific's, but would like to know if there is any known common faults causing the EM6-285 td in a military rm6866 not to start? There are a couple on auction that don't start, but that's all they will tell you. These trucks don't seem to have many miles on them so I'm thinking its more to do with being 40 years old? Also, say it needs a fuel pump or something, where's a good start to look for these old R series bits? Thanks
