  1. are they going to flip it? see a lot of those trucks around here but they don't fix them just sell for a few thousand more than what they sold at auction for typically listing them the same day, around here the cabs are decent its the beds that go bad I think they send them north, to bad they don't export them and leave the Macks here.
  2. that was on ebay a few weeks back I thought it sold for about what it is asking for
  3. Found this checking out an ebay search Anyone close to this one, auction fixing to end? http://www.ebay.com/itm/1963-Mack-B-Model-Wrecker-/201021750451?pt=Other_Vehicle_Parts&hash=item2ecdd47cb3&vxp=mtr
  4. Went to dinner but gearhead204 answered it
  5. replace the water pump, just because it seems fine don't mean that it is, if it was caveating causing the air bubbles a $75 water pump is cheaper than tearing into the engine.
  6. More than likely it was shrinkage as it only happened when it was left out side for awhile. Antifreeze will go where water and oil won't meaning that it is a smaller molecule, if it is not leaking and shows no sign of a leak other than that small puddle I would not worry about it. The freeze point is good with mix and the line is not leaking when running, it was probably a shrinkage issue.
  7. If you cant see any circulation it is the water pump, have seen the impellers fall off as most are pressed fit, may not be overheating because of the cold weather
  8. when you look in the radiator can you see it circulate? May still have some trapped air, on my B this past summer the radiator was burping and it was the water pump, it was circulating enough that I trouble shooted everything but, the last thing to do was replace it and found that was the problem all along.
  9. thanks posting the pictures, neat trucks
  10. That's a good deal, when you packing it in for the Republic of Texas?

  16. what are you going to do with the off brand that was going to be the donor?
  17. need to get some POR or under coat paint on that frame before the winter takes it toll
  18. seemed priced right but if there is frame issues maybe not
  19. Mike I am not going to go waste the fuel or time to look at it for that money and condition, someone else can do that. I will call maybe in a few weeks if I still see it on CL but I am still looking for a truck with a sleeper. Found a 1973 KW with a newer sit down 36" but the rear suspension is all worn out and the sleeper install needs some work, the guy said they changed it from a crawl in to the sit down and the back of the cab needs some work. Not sure if it would take a 48" sleeper, then again I would have to find one
  20. He will probably stick at that price then scrap it for $1500
  21. No Connection I called on it and the owner swears it is a B61. I asked him if he would come down on the price said a little. Does not currently run, widows been down for at least 10 years, said it had a tarp on it and inside is shot. I asked if it did run when parked 15 years ago he said the motor did but the power divider is out. Does not know if the motor is free or what might be missing. I asked again about the price and he said that that's what the go for on ebay. 1964 mack b61 - $7000 (rolla) 1964 collectors. 237 mack engine. 5 &3 triplex tranlong wheel base. Ran when parked ut. Power divider is out on it. contact by phone:☎ 5735784233 Location: rolla do NOT contact me with unsolicited services or offers
