I was outstanding in the carport this morning (see what I did there? 😁) and noticed that a screw was backed out about halfway. So I got the stepladder and a quarter inch drive ratchet and socket and went over every screw in it. It's not screeching and moaning now, most of them were loose and two had come all the way out.

It is probably the flexing loosening up the screws??? So you still have to stabilize it somehow.. And that would take a 5 gallon pail of Lock Tight!!

I would think the proceeds from the International would have been a good chunk down on the 30' X 50' Morton.......now THAT would be outstanding.

You are right.. BUT Tommy lives in a Mobile home and in a Mobile home park(???) so he might have zoning problems with a permanet  building??????

while this may be true, all he has to do is change his name to Karen and declare himself president of the HOA. then he can do whatever he wants.  👍

We live in a mobile or modular home

but not in a park.

I told Zina that the constant back and forth is what loosened the screws. They just used self starting sheet metal screws in it, just stick in the socket on a cordless drill and run it in, drills it's own hole. They're more concerned about doing it quickly than anything else I'm sure, then they can move on to the next job.

My garage is full of those screws … I think thier was around 2200 of them  lol

Tom, Depending how big your lot is, it looks like you have room to put up a good garage.. Might still have to worry about zoning problems???

are they just self tappers, or are they roofing self tappers with the rubber insulator and washer between rubber and screw headlike this:

That’s what mine has and they gave me way more than I needed. I still got tons of them left.

 The inside screws did not have the rubber piece on them. I found one on the ground that had came out, I had to dig up another one in the shed to put back in. The one I got out of the shed I just left the rubber piece on it. The sides and roof screws have the rubber on them.

I'm too afraid you may be needing purchasing a big bag of normal 1/4" or so machine screws than drill each hole to the size and install them with self locking nuts at the inside and rubberized washers at the outer side.

Those self-tapping srews could be Ok for attaching lining sheets or roof portions. But no go for putting the structure together.
