Well  congratulations I don’t know how you did it. I think I mentioned I’m only 5-7 and I weigh the same as you great deal on the blood pressure. Let’s keep up the great work you look terrific. Happy hump day.

Congratulations!!!!!  How did you do it??? Diet??? Exercise???  I am 6'4" and have dropped from 250 when driving to 235 in retirement, but would still like to get back to about 200.. I have the arthritis problem in my hips as well as fighting sugar.

I'm happy for you.  When I retired 12 years ago, I was 265 pounds.  Today, I'm at 230 and still losing.  I don't rush things, don't go to a gym, don't starve myself, but have cut back on portions and snacking.  I also don't stress about it.  Don't know how long I have left, so there is no point in stressing over my weight.  At this rate, I should hit 200 in around 10 or 11 more years, IF I'm still here! :)

Well done, loosing weight is a challenge and as I get older the challenge is even harder

I have no good answers here

Was running between 8 and 10 mile each morning for nearly 15 years after I had a accident and busted my back in a couple of spots

Dunno if I lost weight or not but sure as I never weigh myself, but I felt better and still take zero medication

Developed a heel spur type of deal a few months ago, so did something really unusual, got some new tyres and tubes for a push bike someone gave my years ago

Stuff me that took a while to get used to but I am 12 - 13 mile each morning

Almost always up at 3.00 am and go straight out to it

Well done on the weight loss, I dunno if I could give up Bourbon, the longer I'm married the better it tastes ha ha ha

as some of you may know, i had a few issues over the past two years.

as a result of those issues, i determined it was damn well past time to address the biggest elephant in the room which was my size.

well, i am proud to announce i am now under 200 pounds for the first time on over 30 years.

a few years ago at 335 pounds.

i plan on holding this weight until i see the doctor beginning of January to see if she feels i should stay here, or drop another 20 pounds.

as for now i feel great and am no longer taking blood pressure meds. in fact i am adding a pinch of salt to water bottles to raise the blood pressure, the first time i have used salt in over 25 years.

the only real issues i have no are the arthritis that kicks my butt especially withing 12-18 ours of it raining, and no more "built in" insulation keeping me warm. i had to turn the home temperature up from 65 to 72.

Congratulations! Readjusting your body to a lower weight is not easy.
