Well, it hasn't had much work done, but I did get the oil pan gasket scrapped off the block yesterday.  I basically rolled the block on its side to make it much easier on myself.

Still waiting on friend to get some time to pull the liners for me.  I will start pushing him more now that the weather is starting to turn.  I am making slow headway on cleaning the block with wire brush, rags, and solvent.

 

I did get new bushings installed in clutch housing, along with new shafts so it works really smooth.  Now to get it bolted back to transmission.  I want to get it inside for the winter.  Might stack it on the back of the truck to keep it out of the way.  I am very space limited(ready that:too much shit).

Good to hear an update on this! I've got too many projects on the back burner as well, too busy in the summer and too cold in the winter lol

On the topic of gaskets anyone tried carbide scrapers for gasket removal? I've got an aluminum head that is being stubborn.
