Popular Post other dog Posted July 20, 2023 Popular Post Share Posted July 20, 2023 I've been making a little progress on the smoker shed. I worked on it this morning until the heat got to me. I've done about all I'm gonna do anyway, now I just need to recruit some help to get the other grill over here. Looks pretty good, I put the shelf up and spread some gravel around the perimeter today. I'm going to put the other grill on this side, in front of the green shelves. I'm going to stack the wood for the smoker on the shelves. I've got the stew pot stand in back, with an old satellite antenna under it, and the fire "barrel " is some truck wheels that came off a B53S Mack mixer stacked up. I put a "beware of dog" sign up because Roman bit the neighbor the other day. Right on his ankle, broke the skin too. I was wondering how I moved that grill before, this was pretty smart thinking- I took these wheels off of 2 old garden tillers that I had in the junk pile and clamped them to the grill's hind legs. Or it might have been the front legs, I don't know. But I don't have any wheels in the junk pile now, or even a junk pile, but I'll figure something out. The grill in the back is real though, that's when I took it home and before I painted it and put the chrome stack on it. I used it for a grill before, but I had taken it down to Moore's Machine and had a lid put on it. They put the offset fire box on it too, but it's only good for a shelf. She had me put these bird feeders on the window where she can see them from her office, and the little squirrels can jump from the deck railing onto the feeder. We went to the Home Depot store to pick up a freezer that we got last night and the starter locked up on the truck. And even driven for a few days that way just by parking on a grade. Also nice to see the progress over the new place. The BBQ shed looks well built. And I really like the squirrel. I appreciate your diligence.. on another note,,,, My neighbor asked me to scrap his grill, because he got a new one..... I said... OK... well, it has a bottle with a gauge and it feels like its almost full. and its the same one I already have.. oh Yeah,,, He added a Beer Holder to it,, easy breezy.. meanwhile I am smoking ribs and chicken in my Redneck Smoker...
