Do you know Tom there isn’t anything I don’t like put it all out there. I will eat it I did notice once I left the East Coast. Squash does not seem like a big hit out here, especially like Thanksgiving dinners nobody serves it.

Looks fun! Trying to get through this mess, rains came too late and the weeds keep coming. 13.7 moisture and 57 test weight so I can't complain too much about what little wheat there is. Lookin like there's not going to be a day off for me anytime soon! IMG_3E7A4326387D-1.thumb.jpeg.7e07eb24de8934ff1eb6a184de1a7ff2.jpegB8A38456-AADF-4EA7-ACBE-AC36F1B44833.thumb.jpeg.275921913de941922526c40c3bbd115f.jpeg

Wow, how wide is that grain head, 120 feet?

Just 30 feet but the original design was for 24 feet, John Deere stretched it out but that made the middle always crack or break.

My dad's made cowboy candy before with our garden peppers. Not the biggest fan but what else can you do with them.F861862A-30BE-4693-AD3C-CE29BDF0C9E7.thumb.jpeg.acf519d3994ced1553d12a0b1d6bb47d.jpeg

I made a quart of the cowboy candy, and I made a pint of just pickled jalapeno slices. I use them for making nachos, one of my favorite snacks. I just wanted to use up some jalapenos, I've already got a couple of bags in the freezer for hot sauce but I want to save room for the Tabasco and cayenne peppers. They're not even ready to pick yet, but I've had lots of jalapenos.

Not me.

I lose the windows and turn the ac up another notch

I has  ice crystals on the outside of the passenger window last night when I pulled in the yard.

And it was 93 degrees outside the truck.  😁

when you are up to your armpits in alligators,

it is hard to remember you only came in to drain the swamp..

My AC quit on me two days ago one hour out 95°. I deadlined it Thursday night last night. It was already fixed that must’ve been something really easy. Ordinarily the AC in my Peterbilt works so well I have to keep turning it down.

Been a rough weekend for me so far. Header auger I welded up broke completely through making the whole header useless. Have to switch to the draper header now which doesn't do very good in this short wheat. This years got to be the harvest that never ends plus now I'm sick so nothing got done today.

Hope everyone else has a great weekend
