I have a back-up on a switch but I am looking into what it would take for a switch on the shift rail. Have you done that or just manual switch like I have? My original switches are stuck. I dont want them to crumble when I try to move them. I was thinking about coating them with clear nail polish to stop the crumbling. Oh well. also found rust inside the distributor. So this rig is getting intake gaskets, valve cover gaskets, a new distributor, vacuum lines and a water pump. Ive got enough shop projects to last me 2 lifetimes I think, but I just keep rotating on them getting a little done at a time while simultaneously working them in with keeping up on trucking and repair and maintaining my everyday truck.
