Unreal-have difficulty understanding how things have gone this far.  Then again when you look at the crap we accept on TV,  the lack of good roll models, the decline of the family, it is not hard to understand why things are trending the way they are.

Just heard West Hollywood was giving Stormy Daniels some sort of good citizenship award!

My daughter is traveling on a bus from N York to  Pennsylvania summer camp to do her second year as a group leader, after camp last year she told me that there were strict rules of behaviour for all students attending 7 to 16/17 years AND all the staff, there are about 800 students at her camp and 200 staff, the girls and boys have their separate dormitories, the group leaders are supervising their allocated groups from 7 am to 11 pm and there were no problems - camp for the students was 8 weeks. The rules don't change and many parents have their children attending every year from age 7 to 16, because they are confident of the safety and secure about the behaviour

My son did scouts for 3 years and there was none of that nonsense at the jamborees, the rules were made known to all, and the leaders did their jobs

The rules have worked for many many years, why change - to create division and invite problems?

Exactly.

There are two lines of thinking that fundamentally never intersect, the progressive and conservative. The conservative wants change only if the fruit is a progressive improvement. The recklessness is that the progressive who just wants something new.

We have two states in which all Boy Scout (liberal-driven) lawsuits have taken place.....California and New Jersey.

Exclusion is key, maintain your sovereignty. BSA failed to do that, which may bring growth when considering the state of the country. Don't be fooled to think they are going to dry up.......conforming to culture does not cause extinction, it more often brings rapid growth. Like rotting road kill that has started to bloat.

For many years Boy Scouts helped boys develop into respectful, well-mannered, young men.  And likewise Girl Scouts helped girls develop into well-mannered, respectful young women.

It is a sad day indeed that the leaders of the BSA cave in to the demands of loony fringe groups.  How many Dads will encourage their sons to become a Boy Scout?  And how many Moms will encourage their young daughters to go on intramural camping trips?

Tee BSA should have stood their ground against the gay activists, and, if unable to prevail, they should have disbanded the organization.  Sad day indeed...

This is just an other step to gentrify the males, make them docile and not libel to oppose any changes or rebel.  Most have no father or positive male roll model to teach them any male skills. The reasoning is that feminizing boys will take the "violent" tendencies away...appears to be working well    NOT.  The Scouts started changing their image when Clinton was president. It was him who declared the Scout a "para military" group because they wore military style uniforms and learned survival skills.
