Another not so brite transporter

Wow! That's a first. WTF are these guys thinking? Those wedge trailers aren't designed to carry that kind of weight in one spot. It's fools like this that pick up loads for $.40 a mile that ruin it for the rest of us. I have been doing my research and crunching numbers to see if running a 3/4 car trailer can make sense. Not with jerkoffs like this booking loads with the wrong equipment and the lots they are leaving don't give a crap. Pay cheap get cheap but no one seems to care.

The Freightliner tractor looks similar to the one that was being towed from Detroit Diesel in Bedford in the last transporter saga.

Maybe we're dealing with only one set of moe-rons here.

Hmmm, good point

The trailer is rated for 21K pounds. They figure the truck weighed around 20K, and the SUV is on the nose supported by the tractor so "it should be fine" DOH!!!! Only problem, every time one axle gets light, the other two take the weight(all of it). Sooner or later you are going to break an axle stub off.

That's what worried me about that blown airbag yesterday. I had a load of treated lumber on, had to go from Lovingston up to rt. 6 to turn around, then back 8 or 10 miles to drop the trailer. I was thinking the whole time "if another one blows from all the pressure i'm gonna be in a world of doo-doo!"

Triaxle RD, steel wheels, 16' ox body and steel tanks, looking at 26,000# and that's if the bed isn't lined with 1/2" plate to haul shot rockif so figure 28,000#. Oh well momma always said life was like a box of chocolates, sum are good sum aren't and sum never should been made. I'm a proud supporter of natural selection.
