  1. Hey Larry, You can move on down here to Nashville, everybody and their cousins are doing it. The land is cheap but the only problem is, is we don't know how to drive down here. LOL
  2. Lord gave us mountains to climb because he was tired of those Deserts to cross. At least you got shade and water plus wildlife with mountains. Desert has sand and rarely any water or trees.
  3. Mike, I now have you on our Prayer List here at work. You have 23 people praying for you and your family. I hope that will cure your concerns on others that don't know you personally that are praying . Prayer Works!
  4. Now that explains it. Why I could not get to sleep last saturday night. Too much light coming through my bedroom window. I thought China had dropped one on us in Ohio. Thanks Larry. Don't think of us old folks needing our sleep.
  5. Thank You General for the truth and your support. We Sons of Confederate Veterans are barely more than the amount that survived that war, in Tennessee. That amount was and is today just over 2,000 people in the State of Tennessee.
  6. As Bob would normally say, " Have A Ball " and a Happy B Day, but your next gift you should have purchased yourself should be a pair of Hearing Aids cuz you goin to need em, soon.
  7. Also since we are on the subject. It would be nice to know how great this country may have been, if the 60's had never happened with a Generation of Pot Heads that produced stupid crap kids that some of us have to train with no dang hopes of a decent future. Sorry, bad lunch , had too many Krystal Hamburgers.
  8. Come to Music City and ride a bigger, longer and safer golf cart or open ATV on the streets, doing Tours of the city. It is a matter of time when the evening News will be announcing a crash, with people hurt. Everything is becoming a total Cluster, as if we needed it.
  9. It would be wonderful to have 25 years back from them having the power over all of those sheep" Liberal People" they herded. I'd like to forget them and those years.
  10. Many people that have old vehicles will let them go back to nature before selling them. And that is a shame.
  11. I'm terribly sorry to hear of such a loss. My prayers to all of you suffering.
  12. Hey, now I think I could use one of those tissues. She seems stunned and hardly knows what to say or do. I'm sure that I would be the same way. Thanks for sharing such a fine family and a wonderful rebuild come true. Hope all have a great summer enjoying Ole Gus.
  13. Yeah man, Bud wheels and Budweiser, they go hand in hand.Looks good Larry. Now will need a large Winfall Mural on the back of the bunk. You would get many thumbs up on that.
  14. I'm leaving the weight thing alone. To be perfectly honest about those drivers, most were skinny back in the day and people made it work or they were looking for some other means of work. I look back at photos of family and friends to find everybody was thin as a picket fence in those days except for some older ones. We did not eat very much and the metabolism was working overtime. LOL Sure wish it could work better today. LOL cause i'm about 35 lbs. over the hill.
  15. Noo Waay. I saw you sitting in ole Gus. You could not touch the floor or pedals, with your feet.
  16. By the time you get through with those projects, i'll probably be grayer hair than now. LOL Bout the best thing I can do is fix a mean breakfast and dinner. And I thought you were older than 13.
  17. Thanks, your mighty kind for the help, but ole Mack needs parts painted and some powder coating and the list goes on.
  18. I'm out of LIKE'S for today, but it sure do look good. I do have a question tho.....Is the bumper chrome or black? Also if you can find me a women with some Mack skills, would you be kind enough to send her my way? My B Model needs finishing. I'd be nice enough to send her back if need be. OH! and Gus looks mighty proud and I know your Grandfather is. Blessings Mike
  19. That is a hood ornament that had gotten too hot and had to be brought inside to cool off.
  20. Think I'm cooking the wrong things to see butts like that . Guess I'll need to start with a Boston Butte. And will need to use the right rub.
  21. I'll never forget the total cost of my first new car back November 9th 1972. It was a 1973 Mustang Mach 1with the 351 Cleveland engine. $3,710.63 . It was considered a smog engine and it ran poorly. Until the distributor was reworked, then ran very well.
  22. Any possibility of tracing the gun to bullet?
  23. Try and remember all Veterans "All Veterans " past & present that have gave us life as we know it. I'm remembering several on this day . Private Steven S. Sanders 23rd Tennessee Infantry Company F went to war at 36 years old in 1861. Private Amasa Webb Manier 24th Tennessee Company A, Medical Assistant Surgeon at 23 years old , went to war 1861. Both served 10 months and came home to devastation. Their work was just beginning till death. Last but not least my late father Corporal L. H. Sanders 272nd Armored Battalion WW 2 under Lieutenant Colonel Wallace Wade. , Normandy Invasion and Battle of The Bulge, went to war at 19 years old. These three came home and are now in their eternal homes. I honor you all. Not just on this day, but many. Now your leaders statues are being desecrated.
  24. Sorry for your loss and big job ahead of you. I saw and cut out an article from Nashville newspaper that 144,792 farms have vanished, turned into subdivisions or other reasons, for a decade in this country. I guess that is why we rely on other countries so much. Frankly I had rather look at the farms and countryside than look at people running up and down the street in cars or ATV's
