  1. Mark, English is still running some DM's and a few older RD tandems. Majority are triaxles now. Cheers, Robert
  2. That is a nice umodel Vin. It was Canetes first big truck. Was nicer years ago when he first put it in the road.
  3. Tom, New Jersey doesn't do combined weight like NY does. You can register the truck for whatever you want. If you get pulled over and weighed then you will be over on the axles. I'm out of NJ and have my International at 40,000. I run into NY and they count the trailer, truck and machine as combined weight ( I pull a tagalong). My truck was rated for 33,000 originally 21 rear 12 on front but I have 30,000 springs and an extra leaf on the front now. Jersey counts trailer and truck seperate. You can get an overweight permit for New York for a single axle I think it was 40 something thousand lbs it was $300.00 a year. My Mack I have the same weight registration but I could probably up it. NY was 22,500 on the rear axle as far as what is permitted. Cheers, Robert
  4. Mark, Canete is out of Wayne NJ. They also have a very nice Western Star tandem with heavy specs. Cheers, Robert
  5. That t riaxle had a 8v92 in it?. I remember it at Englishtown probably 90 or 91? It was a sweet truck.
  6. Are you sure it was a twelve? Did they have another one with a 9 speed Mack in it? Years ago they had it at the truck show at Rockland Community College back in 89or 91 can't remember. Cheers, Robert
  7. All 8ll's pop out of third gear eventually. I never liked the 8ll in a Mack it never really matched right with the engine. In other makes it is a fine trans but in a Mack it never seemed right.
  8. I believe this was a tractor at one time and it was owned by JJF from Marlboro NY I think? I have a photo from Englishtown from the early nineties of this truck. If I'm not mistaken they ran dump trailers. Cheers, Robert
  9. This is Tilcon in Fords or Raritan?. Down by the river right?.
  10. The visor and bumper give it a lowered look.
  11. Looks like the Exxon by H & H Mack also. I used to work for them about twelve years ago.
  12. I always only use the mud stick for 1st and shift it quick with a blip from the jake and go 5 in direct.
  13. This is very interesting as I was a member also and brought my Mack and pickup to Metro Jersey show and couldn't even park my trucks next to each other something about some crazy rule and I saw everybody else doing the same thing I wanted to do. Questioned it and got yelled at. This was back in 05 or 06 I think. For wanting to support and be involved I didn't feel very welcomed. Cheers, Rob
