    thats how i learned automatic car transmissions,,had a 62 ford,,,no reverse gear,,just jumped right in and tore it down,,had alotta fun doing it,,but put the hillholder in backwards,,had to take apart tail shaft only,,and swap it around,,,done half a dozen since.bob

    oh,i like your picture,,nice,,ive never seen a cummins in one,either,and,,thats saying something out here,in nevada,and california,ya cummins are great engine,,we run them at work,,in our kenworths,,they hardly have any problems,we go thru clutch fans,and some electric swiches,,but the basic motors hold together pretty good,,but i know guys,at conway,that run mercedes in thier sterlings,,they tell me thier junk..bob

    i had a 350 2 valve,,i realy liked it,,dont know anything about the 4 valve,,but i think they wont have trouble getting 6 G,s for that one,,after checkin some prices in truck paper for 20-25 yr old trucks,geeeeesssuss,,,couldnt believe some of the high prices..bob

    wow,nice neat job,,what did you do for front of cab?know what you mean about youth,,was driving all beaters,in my twenties,and thirties...too old now,,our work trucks have air suspention,,thier ok,,but think the air cab is better.bob

    heh,,,i have one,,use it to take out the trash,,cushman security cart,,electric start,horn lites..pretty cool,,got it for 100 bucks,like 15 years ago not running,,got it all in shape,,worth its weight in gold,,,my wife was tryng to talk me into takin it to shows,,and charging people to ride,from on it,,probably make a fortune,,,usually lotta walking,,have pictures of it,,but cant find them.lol.bob

    sounds like a fare price,with all that engine work,i would grab it,its sounds like its pretty much ready to go,and the rubber is all good,make him buy you fresh battery,s.lol.,,and definately wouldnt be afraid to work it,good luck,bob...how you feeling ernie?im doing excellant,back to work two weeks.bob
