Besides, I started working on my wife’s kitchen cabinets a couple of years ago. She’ll be after me anytime to continue with the progress on those things as I mention nothing to do right now cause I have to go outside to get anything done. It’s too cold. I’ll just go to more progress on the DM. I’ve got all kinds of pictures of it right now. I’m working on the nose I don’t know if you’ve been following that thread, but I could’ve bought another one that was on a lot better shape. I didn’t realize how bad mine was until I started grinding off old Bondo and fiberglass repairs holy cow. The other one was in a lot better shape. I only wanted 150 bucks for it.

I had a big scale of 55 Chevy convertible and a regular scale 49 Ford I wound up giving both of them away back in my 20s when I was working around the clock

Hey, that’s something you gotta get into . Joey pick yourself up a put together model perfect in your condition. I haven’t even priced any of that stuff in a long time. The last one I bought was a LN Ford box truck that was around 20 years ago. it’s still in the box but yes, I still have it and that will be after the DM

Oh yeah bro same here I couldn’t get out of them fast enough. I really liked my truck. I had a brand new Peterbilt 579. I didn’t have any trouble shifting mine. It had a lot of little issues. They finally got them all straightened out on the truck that got transferred.to another terminal shortly after I left I didn’t care for the run at all. I was doing except it was daylight triple trailers 530 miles. There was always an issue out there Accident delays blowing out tires late gates. I was doing a layover run I really liked to LA and they cut it. Made it a Meet and turn less miles. I was making a lot more money towards the end, but I couldn’t stand the run at all and now. i’m not even interested in driving once in a while. I don’t want to do it at all anymore. If I had to go to work for the extra money, I would not do that. I would rather do something else, but I don’t really need to go back to work anyway which makes it nice what I was turning into a couch potato I had to join a gym to keep moving while the weather is better I’ve got plenty to do on the DM. OK now I really changing the subject.

Well, hell, I could’ve worked on the DM today. I had a go to the gym and the instructor beat the hell out of us today frankly, I forgot about the damn thing I was gonna go out and rake up some leftover leaves and my body was aching so I thought I better just watch television.

We seem to all agree once they come out with the XM radio, and a cell phone. We pretty much lost everybody.

Sorry about stepping on your tread. I tried to get rid of it but then Mechohaulic brought it back. I put it over on antiques. Yeah I drove for 49 years when I was only 19 started on a truck like that one steel dash R model it was a trash compactor I only retired in September and I was so sick and tired of it. I didn’t even wanna work the last couple of weeks of it. I know what you mean. It’s nothing like it used to be everybody here says the same thing it used to be a lot of fun. Everybody used to talk to everybody. That’s all gone.
