  1. Holy shit what a good looking son of a bitch thanks for that Paul. I thought you were talking about the movie. I have never seen it….. bob
  2. OK man that’s just a really weird story. I remember an outfit called Hathaway. They had beat the hell Brockways half of them don’t even look like they ran. I’m sure some of you guys remember them.
  3. I have that same poster it used to be hanging in my bedroom. I don’t know what it happened to it. I’m sure it’s packed away somewhere.
  4. I remember looking at a brand new 74 GMC brand spanking new pick up 8 foot bed six cylinder automatic chrome package 2 Wheel Dr.4500 bucks and yes I bought my first house for 75,000. It was brand new Lancaster California now they want that for a full size Pick up thankfully I retired with a 2014 Mustang with only 42,000 miles on it immaculate condition that otta get me through till the end ha ha and then some.bob
  5. Right on man sounds like a ball you’re going to make that truck just as popular as Mack on cars lol sounds like you had a swinging time. Thanks for sharing….. bob
  6. nobody would miss any of that. It doesn’t seem to get anywhere near as bad back there as it used to. I don’t know. I moved out of there 45 years ago growing up back there it seems like that’s all I did was snow and freeze bob
  7. , man it looks like a good idea. You wonder how many they would move check out the video if you get a chance I just spotted it on Google news yesterday
  8. And yes, too much time on my hands in the weather is not very cooperative. I will be outside a little bit later doing what I don’t know ha ha
  9. OK, here we go. I guess the original subject has changed kind of sorta Joey where are you?
  10. And Joseph I moved west in 1980 so I actually have not seen a Brockway working since 1985. I used to see one back then around the LA rail pulling railroad trailers we used to call them piggybacks
  11. It’s pretty sickening to see stuff like that. Go to scrap. I’ve mentioned this before a lot of times potential buyers with money live in areas where your can’t really keep stuff like that homeowners association condo stuff like that …. Nosy neighbors complaining about everything you do. Then again a lot of of us with the room are too far away from deals like that.
  12. Ok that’s just wierd but thanks
  13. lol thanks for that bob
  14. Hell , I must’ve missed this one truck looks gorgeous… walk in sleeper is the way to go, but yes, cutting up the body as a lot of work
  15. Personally, I would drop it off at a dealership on consignment probably the best way you’re gonna get big money out of it. Dealing with private parties is nothing but a pain in the ass half the time you stick around all afternoon waiting for them and they never show up then if they do, they want it For free
  16. Hey man have swinging time and merry Christmas my wife grew up in San Diego and every time we go down to visit in-laws I don’t want to come back here
  17. I wish someone would give me 1400 for my Montgomery ward lol paid 50 bucks and bought 250 worth of parts to clean it up then decided I really don’t need it been sitting outside for 15 years
  18. I would start at 30Gs see what kind of response you get got luck
  19. Kinda hard to believe it was 50 years ago when I was using one
  20. besides, you don’t have a tire spreader on the road for tube type those things are God sent
  21. Ha ha I guess I meant to say tubeless seems be a little easier to pull apart and yes, carrying your own spare stuff as the way to go if it’s coming out of your pocket
  22. Well, my bud wheels seem to be a little easier to dismount the tires and mount them. I’ve never done them, but I watched a lot of guys change them and it doesn’t take them very long at all. But yes, I do prefer spokes
  23. lol yes spoke wheels . I’ve done 1 million of them. my old company really didn’t want us doing anything to the trucks. Our average road calls were 2 to 3 hours but we also got paid to sit there. I want to say between 1000 and 1200 bucks to come out I don’t know for sure I never even saw the bills. They were just direct bill the company. I did see a loves Bill one time that was right there at the shop. I think it was close to 1000 bucks. I don’t know about any of your other guys but been in loves twice and Winnemucca, Nevada right in front of their door and it was a three hour delay. I’ve never seen anybody works so slow.
