  1. Great work. You just convince me to pay someone to polish the wheels on my R model. You definitely need to keep it inside next winter. Mike
  2. 1964 White 4264. Gas 6 cylinder flat head. 5 speed. Tandem axle. Steel flatbed with winch. Air brakes. Needs a motor mount. Power nothing. Runs good after replacing plugs, wires and coil. Original paint. $5000 OBO Mike.
  3. It's an F model. The headlights make it look like an IH Emeryville. Looks pretty good. The serial number plate should be o. The driver's door. If you post that someone will tell you what engine it had originally. Good luck. Mike.
  4. I didn't talk to the owner. I didn't go to the VFW. The guy I spoke to said he thought Ed would rather cut stuff up than sell it. I don't know if that is true or not. There is a pretty nice DM600 with a green dash and a hard nose. The cab is really solid. The picture I took was terrible though. The cruiseliner would have some good parts. I did not look at the nose on the B61. The floor is gone though. What do you need. My father has several front ends sitting around. Mike
  5. Yep the directions worked pretty good. I knew it was a diamond T as soon as I typed it. Saw this too.
  6. Yep. I was told if I wanted to find him I need to go to the VFW in Slatington. The light blue trucks are from Alpo. . Mike
  7. I found the place. Everything down by the turnpike was cut up except this Diamond Reo.. Several interesting trucks up the hill though. It is hard to find off of Schoolhouse Rd. Mike
  8. Brocky, Thanks for the info. I'm going to try it tomorrow. Mike D, If you get to talk to anyone see if they will sell parts or whole trucks. I would really like some parts off the Autocar. There is a very short dump trailer there that would be worth saving, maybe 20 feet long. And I could get that air filter for Maddog. Mike
  9. That's the place. My father was by last week and said they were cleaning up the brush like they were getting ready to clean up the trucks. We were in there years ago and there were a hundred or more trucks. When I was in 4 years ago there were about twenty. I need to dig up the old pictures because there was some good stuff. Mike
  10. Do you have a picture of the seat? I need one for my MH if it is the right thing. Could you bring it to Macungie? Mike
  11. That black and white looks very similar to the one above. I thought I could get FWD to check this place out but I guess he has other things on his mind. Hopefully I can save some stuff. Mike
  12. Yahoo. Way to go. Glad everyone is healthy now. Those little parasites can be hard on the host. Mike.
  13. I had been wanting to go in this junk yard along the PA Turnpike Northeast extension for a long time. I stopped a few years ago in the snow on my way to Toronto. There were not a ton of trucks, but there were some neat things. Only parts of two Macks: a B model and an A model with a Mono-shift. Two Autocars, a DC75 that I would love the bumper and grill guard off of and a four-door utility truck. Several Internationals, Chevys and Whites. My father was by the other day and said they are cleaning it up. If any of you Lehigh Valley guys can get up there and find out what is happening I would appreciate it. I really would like the DC75 as a parts truck. It might have been cut up already. I will be in Easton on Sunday and might stop by in the afternoon, but don't know how to get there other than jumping the fence along the Turnpike. Mike
  14. I hate to see anything get scrapped. It is too far from me. You should post it on the Brockway web site. Most of those guys are in New York but maybe someone will ant it. Good Luck. Mike
  15. Jesse Baro Inc. My father has worked for them for about 15 years now.
  16. Looks like an impressionist painting to me. Or maybe I need new glasses.
  17. Nice. I found pictures here http://rescue37.com/apparatus/retired-apparatus/. Maybe I'll call them and see what they know. Mike
  18. You can call it in too. Rose will answer the phone.
  19. I had a good day. I drove my GMC/E-One just for fun. I considered not going but I had committed to a Mack extinguisher from Paul. So I got that and he gave me a great deal on a B model bell and bracket. I had a good time talking to Paul, his wife and his buddy. I bought a portable pump to fill up a compartment on a truck, a chain saw to use around the house, two PA300's and speakers and some 3" hard suction. The best deal was a box of Mack manuals. B and CF for $50. I only saw Yardo briefly and I missed the nunnery. I would have liked to catch up with more of you. It will have to wait till Macungie. Only two months away. Mike
  20. Paul. I would like to buy the Mack extinguisher if it is not spoken for. I'll be there on Sunday. Mike
  21. They were for sale for a while. I wish I would have bought them. They look like two nice trucks. Mike
  22. I called ATHS and talked to the director before the auction. He said the decision was made several years previous to sell all the vehicles. They had already sold a bunch. I told him It was stupid to have that big building and not have any trucks in it. People expect to see trucks. He gave the answer that they can't keep everything that is donated and the donor got a tax write off which is what they were looking for. He said they pix to have it in the museum. I mentioned preserving history and there was not a truck with more history than that one. I suspect they got a lot of calls like mine before they made the decision. There was a huge uproar on the ATHS forum which led to a lot more lost members and hurt feelings. There was an effort to overthrow the board. I overheard Stormy Wilde talking about it after the election at that convention that most members were never on the forum and did not know anything about it . I stopped and visited Dennis Yaworsky 18 months ago. That truck as not the reason he doesn't take as many trucks to shows. But that is another story. Mike
  23. Happy belated birthday. That is great birthday present.
  24. The serial number on the L model is 85LS1341. Where was it before Barto? The Seagrave was from Spring City. I don't know where it went but was told it went to a collector. It definitely suffered from being outside. I hope I am not steeling the thread. Mike.
  25. I'll be there. I might even drive a fire truck. Only if it doesn't rain. I'd be up for supporting some nuns in training. Is it tax deductible ? Yarnall.
